Everyday Gentle Living / Mini Slow Life Farm Vlog / Last Days of Winter

Hello friend,
Before you know it, yet another week has passed just like that.
I’m looking forward to spring and have taken the opportunity to plant some extra calendulas in a wooden plant box that I’ve found is just in the right spot for them to flourish.
All is well with Spunky and Goliath, our 2 new foster lambs. They still sleep indoors, but during the daytime are kept outside in their own little pen.
Whenever I’m busy in the garden I allow them to follow me around and whenever we go for walks, they eagerly tag along as well.
After having dried the calendula flowers, I then use them in teas and oil infusions, which in turn are used in soap making, lotions and balms.
All in all, life here on the farm is closely tied to the seasons and right now we are eagerly awaiting the time when everything will be awakened from their deep winter sleep.
