Hi guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel, or if you're new here, hi, hello, my name
is Olivia.
Thank you all so much for tuning in to watch this video.
In today's video I'm going to be sharing a summer haul of new in pieces that I've picked
up for summer and beyond from some of my favourite brands including Urban Revivo, Arquette, Massimo
Dutti and other stories and more.
So let's get straight into it.
The first couple of outfits I'm going to show you are all from a brand called Urban Revivo.
I first discovered Urban Revivo about three years ago when I stumbled across this store
that they had in Westfield in London and I absolutely fell in love with their pieces.
They are really well known for their tweed jackets like this one that I'm wearing now
and also their unique on-trend pieces and elevated basics.
Urban Revivo does premium quality pieces really well but at the same time at high street affordable
prices.
Starting with the first outfit, I absolutely love this jacket.
It's a tweed cropped style.
I absolutely love this fringing detail here.
It just really elevates the jacket and then we also have these silver rounded buttons
which give an extra something special.
I really like the cropped sleeves here as well because it makes the perfect summer jacket.
I'm thinking about wearing this to an event I'm going to tomorrow with Armani Beauty actually
for a bridal event since it's cream and super chic.
I've paired it with high-waisted tailored shorts and I absolutely love shorts like this
during summer.
They are not too long but they're also not really short.
They are a Bermuda style and this style works perfectly for summer in the city or you could
even wear them on holiday as well.
I find personally that slightly longer short more flattering than super short shorts.
I really love the structure of this jacket.
It's a slightly thicker material so it's not flimsy and as you can see it has a gorgeous
boxy shape to it.
I've then paired it with these pointed toe shoes.
For all of the outfit pieces, I will leave a link in the description box below along
with the size that I took for each piece just because I find that really helpful as a sizing
reference.
I do find that the pieces are true to size.
Sticking with the chic and classic styling, we have another outfit from Urban Revivo with
the Bardot off-the-shoulder top.
I love a Bardot off-the-shoulder top.
I think they are super flattering because they show off your shoulders and also your
collarbones.
I love this stripe detail.
Stripes are really popular during summer and it's a really great way to tie in the black
into my outfit that I also have on the skirt.
Another item that is really trending at the moment are maxi skirts.
This is such a good maxi skirt for summer in this cream shade and goes so nicely with
the top as well.
I have quite a lot of neutrals in my wardrobe so both of these items are super interchangeable
with other pieces in my wardrobe which is great because I know I'm going to get my wear
out of them.
I also love a maxi skirt if you're petite.
It sort of gives the illusion that I'm taller or that I have a longer body than I actually
do.
I've paired it with the same heels from the last outfit.
Then we have this gorgeous moon-shaped bag.
This is what I mean by the unique but stylish items that they have.
This bag just goes so perfectly with the outfit.
An outfit like this is versatile for so many different occasions.
If you have a slightly more casual work environment, I think this would work for work wear, especially
this maxi skirt because it's super chic and gives a really polished look.
I'd probably wear this for meetings in the city or going to a work event or going to
meet friends for lunch or even dinner in the summer.
I just think this outfit is such a me outfit.
Next up is this super cute black mini dress.
I really love the shape of this dress.
Sometimes I worry about wearing mini dresses in case they're going to cut me off in the
wrong place because of my height.
But the shape and the fit of this with the cinched in waist and the band detail here
and the puffy sleeves and then the A-line shape is super flattering.
I feel like it makes my legs look a little bit longer than they actually are.
This is such a pretty black dress.
I'd wear this for a date night look or for a party.
It's such a classic and timeless style of dress.
This isn't going to go out of fashion anytime soon.
And it's one of those pieces that I will keep in my wardrobe for the years to come.
I can't wait to wear this one for a special occasion or a night out.
For the next outfit we have this black Bardot top.
I think this style of top works so well for all seasons.
So here I styled it with these tailored shorts which I think would be great for a summer
date night look.
But equally this would be great in autumn or winter paired with some trousers or maybe
a maxi skirt.
This sort of top is classic and timeless and you'll reach for it again and again in your
wardrobe.
I've also teamed it with this black belt with the gold detail which I think is really cute
and brings the outfit together.
These are the heels.
They have a suede material here and then they have a gorgeous satin bow with a beautiful
pendant.
And these are just such a cute date night shoe.
This is the final look from Urban Revivo.
We have this black off the shoulder top which has this gorgeous waterfall second layer detail
which really makes it look like a date night or party piece.
And then it has a cool slit detail here.
And I really like this top paired with loose flowy trousers like these ones.
My camera died so I popped it on charge and just changed my hair up.
The next two items I want to show you are from a brand called Dish and they're a new
brand for me.
They are based in Australia and they have the most gorgeous, chic and timeless pieces.
Items I think are going to be in your wardrobe for a long time.
Starting with this white linen dress.
I wore this in Mykonos on holiday.
I really love this dress.
Admittedly I think it needs to be tailored on me so this is the US size 2 which was actually
the smallest size so I would say their sizing is like a tiny bit too big.
But I think with a little bit of work and tailoring here and there this will be a really
nice fit on me.
I still wore it on holiday but I just think I could tweak it to make it fit slightly better.
So as you can see it's a maxi length on me.
It has this shawl type of design here and a ruffle detail here but at the same time
you're cinched in at the waist here so it gives a lovely silhouette shape.
And I just think this dress looks really chic, classic, timeless.
A really beautiful dress for summer.
This next dress is also from Dish and it's a really nice summer dress to have in your wardrobe.
So we have this sort of halter neck design here and a criss cross back which I really
like.
It's all open and it also has elastic at the back which means it's comfortable to wear
so if you're eating throughout the day and I don't know about you guys but my shape changes,
I get bloated, the dress won't be really tight because the back here as you can see is super
stretchable.
So that is nice but at the same time because of the straps you can pull it tight here so
So then we have a nice silhouette with the tightness and structure here but then the
A-line skirt and I've just paired it with some black sandals and then the raffia black
and brown clutch bag from And Other Stories which is such a nice one for summer and summer
holidays and look at the size of it, you can fit quite a lot so if you're going to a summer
barbecue or even a party and you're someone that does like to bring a few things with
you, maybe your camera, some accessories or beauty products then there is lots of space
in this bag which is ideal.
Next we have a fun striped dress from Massimo Dutti.
I am really loving Massimo Dutti at the moment, they're bringing out so many gorgeous chic
pieces, I need to stay out of that shop honestly.
This is a striped sort of maxi, just not quite maxi length, it does have quite a low v-neck,
I love this v-neck shape, I think it's quite flattering but I think ideally I would take
the straps up just a tiny bit so that it's not too revealing and it also has a really
pretty open back, just hide the inside tag there and this is just a simple dress that
I thought I can throw on if I want to lounge around in the garden.
I love wearing a floaty dress, especially when it's really warm, I want to be wearing
a floaty loose dress, something that's comfortable but at the same time I think this would work
really well for a summer garden party or having drinks at the pub.
I've styled this before with a denim jacket to go for dinner with my friend and I think
it looks really lovely with a basket bag so I've paired it with my Loueve basket bag.
This is an oldie but I absolutely love her.
She is so sturdy and you can fit so much inside and she hasn't lost shape and I've had this
for about three years now.
So from Massimo Dutti we have this striped top, it's beige and this colour is navy although
it might show as black on camera and I thought this was a really cute top to wear with trousers
or like I have here with shorts and sandals.
It's an easy top to throw on, casual vibes but at the same time it looks chic, you could
tuck it in if you wanted and I quite like that it's slightly cropped because I do like
to tuck tops in rather than wearing them out often especially when they're this slightly
baggy shape and so there isn't lots of excess material.
This is quite nice to style with white as well so we've got the white shorts, the white
bag from D'Amelio London and then nude beige sandals.
I could not do a new in summer haul without including some pieces from one of my favourite
brands, Arquette.
So we've got this gorgeous linen oversized shirt which is just so nice for holiday.
I brought it to Mykonos with me, it's really nice and floaty.
One thing that Arquette does so well, well the quality of their pieces is second to none
but is their linen.
So this is a linen, bland linen shirt and the quality of the fabric just feels so amazing,
it's really light and floaty and airy which is what you want in summer and I really like
the colour.
As you guys know I'm not much of a colour wearer, blue, light blue is probably as far
as I'll stretch to but this sort of colour I think is quite neutral or at least it works
really well with a neutral colour palette such as black or beige or white as we have
styled here.
And I have this in a size 32, it is an oversized fit just so that you're aware but a piece
like this I'm going to have in my wardrobe for seasons to come because it's not going
to go out of style.
I'm always going to want to wear a linen shirt in the summer and even this colour too.
Then I have this linen blazer to show you, as you can see it's an oversized fit, it's
quite boxy which is something that I like with blazers, it gives a bit more structure,
looks a little bit more luxe.
This is from Arquette as well and it's in a lovely beige colour so really goes with
the rest of my wardrobe.
I'd actually been eyeing this up for a little while before I picked it up and now that I
have it I'm so glad that I do because it's such a versatile piece.
If you're like popping out in the evening and you want to have a layer in the summer
then this is a good one to have to hand because in London it does get chilly in the evenings
during summer and it's not even warm every day.
I think the linen just makes things look a little bit more casual and dressed down
but at the same time smart because you are still wearing a blazer.
This would be a nice piece for the office as well and handy for me when I have meetings
in London and I want to look a little bit smarter and put together.
There is a reason why I have not done my belt up because I wanted to show you guys the belt.
The next two items are from Loewe which is one of my favourite designer brands.
Not that I even have that many pieces from them but the ones that I do I absolutely love
and I had been wanting this belt for so long it was out of stock everywhere.
It's reversible so it's so good.
One side as you can see, the side that I'm currently wearing it on is tan and then you
have this logo buckle here and on the other side it's black.
At the moment it's a tan belt and then I'll show you guys, you can very easily detach
this buckle and then wear it as black.
One of my top tips is if you have a favourite designer belt, for example another belt that
I love is the Isabel Marant Lechy knot belt, that actually comes in tan and black.
So if you're someone who has a capsule wardrobe, loves a minimal classic style, having belts
in tan and black is ideal.
Goes with so many different things.
But get the reversible version because I actually have that Isabel Marant belt in tan and in
black.
You can actually get the reversible version so then you have both colours and there isn't
a need to buy two belts.
Really, all brands should just do reversible belts and then you get two belts for the price
of one, right?
So when I finally got the notification from Harvey Nichols that this had come back into
stock, I thought, you know what, I have to pick it up because it's two belts for the
price of one and it was so hard to get hold of.
I'll show it properly so you can see.
This is it in the tan and I'll switch it over so you can see it in black.
This is it in black and it took 30 seconds to switcharoo it around and now I have a black
belt too.
So, so good.
Next, I want to show you guys my new summer basket bag.
So I bought the Loewe Anagram new style bag because I was looking for a basket bag with
tan detail on because I'm really loving tan this summer and I know that tan is super timeless,
it doesn't really go out of fashion, well it doesn't go out of fashion, so it would
be a good option.
And it goes lovely with the belt, but that's not really why I bought it.
It has been such a versatile piece, I wear it when I go into London and I want to pop
lots in my bag.
It doesn't really fit my laptop, my laptop would be poking out, but for a day in the
meeting, I can bring this bag with me.
And I also wore it in Mykonos as my beach bag, so it does fit a lot inside and I really
like that it has these straps here, where it's slightly shorter and you can wear it
on your shoulder.
So, I can wear it on my shoulder like this, but equally it has longer straps, so perhaps
if you've got too much in your bag, you don't want to hold it like this, you can wear it
like this instead, with the slightly longer straps, which is handy to have the two different
types, depending on how much you have in your bag and also what kind of look you are going
for.
I do really like this bag, one thing I would say is that compared to the older version
of the bag, the one I showed you earlier on, which is the classic L'Oeuvre bag, it's
not as sturdy, it's a little bit more flimsy.
So, while mine has not misshaped in any way, I do think I need to be more careful with
this bag, because as you can see, this material here is a lot thinner, so this one is way
more structured and durable.
If I was probably going to pick between the two, and only plan to buy one of them, I would
pick this one, because it is so, so super sturdy.
And I do really like the chunky strap as well, because it makes it quite comfortable.
I didn't feel this one to the brim when I was on holiday, but I imagine if I did, it
might get a little bit uncomfortable, because look how thin the straps are.
And this is the last item that I wanted to show you, which is new in my wardrobe.
I've actually had it for about two months now, picked it up from Under the Stories,
but I haven't had an occasion to wear it, but I wore it in Mykonos, and it's so pretty.
When I was wearing it in Mykonos, I kind of felt like I was having a Mamma Mia moment,
just because it's white and blue, which goes with the colours of Greece, white and blue
on the flag, and lots of the buildings there are white with blue doors.
I really like the shape of the dress here with the bandeau style, very summery.
And then the thick belt here, and then the floaty skirt.
I think it's super fun, and I'm sure I'm going to be wearing it more over the summer.
Let me know what you thought about the new in pieces that I picked up for summer.
