This Is Why We Flew To NYC _ Slyfox Family

You know why I'm going to New York? Why? I don't even know if there's a good way to say it. They got fidget spinners in New York City. I have a challenge for myself. If you watch any of our vlogs, you know that I overpack. Andrew and I are going to New York, and I'm going to explain a little bit later, but for right now, I'm going to try to pack in this small suitcase. This one, babe, right here. Think it's doable? Oh, new vlog is up. So, it just went live, our vlog today. At the airport, San Diego, heading to New York City. Check my hat. This is how we travel. So, Andrew and I are late people, but guess what? We weren't late today. We on time. Today, on time. We on time. Time enough to get queso. Prime time, on time. From Cuyoba. The two workers right there. Exciting, and I just heard someone say, someone is bald. We're going to New York. We have an explainment to shoot. First time in New York. I have still no idea. Well, not for me. Well, for me, not for Hannah. I still have no idea what the city really looks like. We're going to go see it. I think. The reason for being here is not, it's actually a pretty sad reason that we're here. But while we're here, we're hoping to still see some of the city before we go back to the West Coast. We're in the hotel. We're tired. It's late. It's a weird time change. Andrew still has to edit but we have to get up tomorrow morning at like 7 which is going to be about 4 our time. I'm really excited to see family tomorrow that I have not seen in years. So it's day 2 here in New York. We are in Long Island, New York right now. Do you want to tell them why we're here babe? We're actually here because my grandma died. It's crazy because like I've told you I've never had like a very close relationship with my grandma so there's a lot of mixed emotions in this. It's actually one of the first funerals I've been to and my aunt and my uncle I haven't seen them in a long time so it's pretty emotional and I'll kind of try to I'm even talking about it now like I just it's actually the first person I've ever seen that I don't even know if there's a good way to say it the first dead person I've ever seen so everything's hitting me a little bit different I have not felt these kind of emotions yet so it's hard I mean you've been to a couple of funerals right babe? They show me this picture book that they brought it's like pictures of my grandma and okay there's me my grandpa who's already passed away and my grandma and my dad Just wanted to come out and tell you what's going on because we're gonna be respectful inside of everything that's going on but just wanted to kind of tell you where we're at and why we're even on this trip it's very last minute obviously we had no clothes so yeah just keep us in your prayers death is hard I'm so sorry to everyone if you've recently lost someone it's just it's hitting me in all different kinds of emotions so so we're gonna go in the funeral's getting ready to start and we will hang out with you guys afterwards so we'll see you then funeral is done we didn't film any of it out of respect for everybody and for us to actually pay our respects but now we're grabbing lunch with my aunt my uncle cousins my daddy's here he's heading back tonight Andrew and I are staying one night in New York City one hour later so we just got done with lunch and I wanted to show you guys something it's pretty crazy this is my uncle Tommy right here this is my dad go in there dad get in the shot there's two of them they look exactly the same alright I'm gonna pull the whole clan in come over here guys over here come around me the lighting's better this way come on over here let's get my good side okay guys this is my family we have we have the same good side so we were trying to take pictures and we were literally like there are no bad sides this is my aunt Patty uncle Tommy I already told you cousin Kate she sails all the way to the Bahamas I used to live in the Bahamas I bet you didn't know that no you didn't yeah I did and just remember we're filming from Holbrook where you don't get just part of the brook you get the whole brook the whole brook they own a newspaper together they work together which is cool because it's like me and Andrew music we are currently in a tunnel in New York City and I'm pretty sure we're under the water right? we're under the water is this under the water? yeah yeah under the water have you ever seen that movie Daybreak? what is this one? yeah Big Town Tunnel Big Town Tunnel? yeah under the water East Riverside wow East Riverside under the water in a tunnel music we are currently in Chinatown music this elevator is completely covered in wood that is so cool I'm gonna give it a little tour here music we just got into our room this is crazy I have never been in a hotel like this ever ok so first of all this is an eco-friendly hotel apparently and these are the room keys I'm gonna give you guys a tour It's crazy. Yeah. The room keys are awesome. I'm going to give you guys a tour of like the lobby area. You can put this out in front if you don't want to be scared. Not now. It's a rock. Leave us alone. Not now. Oh my gosh. There's detail and everything. Where's Central Park? I think that's Central Park right there. Oh, I think she's right. Central Park right over there. I think. They told us that. Right there. Wow. Look at this. Good call on this place babe. Thank you. It's awesome. Right up our alley. Nice way to cheer things up after kind of a sad day, huh? Yeah. So I'm sure you guys know who Casey Neistat is and Casey Neistat vlogs in New York City all the time but I don't know if he ever has pointed out the tree that looks like a face. Look at that. It's like. I don't see it. It's right there. I'm going to show you in the video. There you go. There's eyebrows right there. The nose kind of deal here. There's actually two faces. There's a face right here. Look at that grumpy face with her nose. Grumpy mouth open. Eyes right there. Another face above it. It looks kind of like an ape or something here. Or Homer Simpson. We have to go to Central Park and climb up stuff like this so I figured I'd do it. Check it out. I'm climbing on these rocks. They got fidget spinners in New York City. Right here. We are excited because we are getting to see New York. Sad because of the reason that we are here.
