梵净山，武陵山脉主峰，海拔2572米，位于贵州省铜仁市的江口、印江、松桃三县交界处。是中国南方最早从海洋抬升为陆地的地方之一，距今约14亿年。是黔金丝猴唯一的栖息地。
梵净山是西南一座具有2000多年历史的文化名山，早在春秋战国时期，梵净山就属楚国“黔中地”，秦朝属“黔中郡”，汉代属“武陵郡”，以后一直是“武陵蛮”崇拜的神山、圣山。梵净山佛教开创于唐，鼎兴在明。明万历所立《敇赐碑》将梵净佛山誉为“立天地而不毁，冠古今而独隆”的“天下众名岳之宗”。
Fanjing Mountain, the main peak of the Wuling Mountains, is 2,572 meters above sea level and is located at the junction of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao counties in Tongren City, Guizhou Province.
Mount Fanjing is one of the earliest places in southern China to be lifted from the ocean to land, about 1.4 billion years ago. It is the only habitat for Guizhou snub-nosed monkeys.
