Delfina Couceiro is passionate about Architecture because it connects people through spaces. "It's all around us whether we see it or not". She studied BA (Hons) Architecture at Oxford Brookes University and was so happy with the course that after a year in the industry, came back to study for the MArchD. In this video, Delfina discusses her passion for Architecture, as well as her reasons for choosing The School of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University. The best thing about studying architecture at Oxford Brookes, Delfina says, is the creative freedom that the course offers. “It gives you space to develop as an architect.” When she first visited Oxford Brookes on an Open Day, she fell in love with the big and bright studio space. As a student, she has enjoyed the studio culture, which allows the students to come together as a community and help each other with every single aspect of the course.

The Oxford Brookes undergraduate Architecture programmes include a RIBA part 1 BA (Hons) Architecture, ARB and LAM accredited course and a BA (Hons) Interior Architecture course. Both of the undergraduate courses have an affiliated association with the ACSA.

Oxford Brookes has dedicated, purpose-designed studios and workshop facilities. Students work on live design projects for real clients and visit outstanding examples of architecture. They also have extensive contact time with tutors, including two design studio days per week.
The recent graduates have gone on to work for OMA, Foster + Partners, Kengo Kuma Architects and Thomas Heatherwick Studio.
