Let's begin with number block 11.
Number block 11 is made up of 10 white blocks and one red block.
One of her eyes is bigger than the other and she loves football.
Don't forget her numberling.
I am 11.
Next, let's make number block 12.
12 is made up of 10 white blocks and two orange blocks in the center.
She can make many kinds of rectangles because she's a super rectangle.
And that's why she has two rectangular-shaped eyes.
Let's put her numberling.
I am 12.
Next is number block 13.
The unluckiest number block in Numberland.
13 is made up of 10 white blocks and three yellow blocks.
And even though he's unlucky, he's always cheerful.
Let's put his stickers.
When anyone says 13, three of his blocks fall off.
Now here comes the skater of Numberland.
Number block 14.
He's made up of 10 white blocks and four green blocks.
And because he's a skater, he's always wearing a helmet.
So cute.
When he falls over, he splits into lucky double seven.
That's why he has two rainbow eyebrows.
And 14 is never without his skateboard.
Yay!
Look at that.
So cute.
Whee!
Oh, I'm slipping.
Oh, it's lucky double seven.
Number block 14.
Extreme 14.
Next is the step-shaped secret agent.
Number block 15.
She's made up of 10 white blocks and five light blue blocks.
She loves to help other number blocks and likes to go on secret missions.
And you can recognize her by her step-shaped eyes
because she's a member of the step squad.
I am 15.
15 is actually made up of number blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Number block 15.
Next is number block 16.
The only square in the set.
She's made up of 10 white blocks and six indigo blocks.
She loves, do you know what?
Squares, of course.
And she even loves square dancing and square parties.
I am 16.
16 is a square because she's four blocks tall and four blocks wide.
And there are many ways to make 16.
In fact, 16 is made up of four fours.
She's also made up of two eights.
And because she's a square,
she's also a member of the square club with nine, four, and one.
Oh, 16 is feeling a little bit of a tickle.
Oh, hi 12.
Hi 4.
16.
Next is number block 17 who loves to paint.
He's made up of 10 white blocks and seven rainbow blocks.
So colorful.
17 is an artist and keeps his brush behind his ear.
And because he loves to paint 17 things at once, he gets a bit messy.
And that's why you can recognize him by the seven rainbow paint splats on his front.
Don't forget his numberling.
Number block 17.
The next number block is 18, super speedy super rectangle.
18 is made up of 10 white blocks and eight pink blocks.
And he loves to go fast, sometimes too fast.
I am 18 and I'm a super speedy super rectangle.
18 is made up of six threes because six times three is 18.
He's also made up of three sixes.
And of course, he's also made up of two nines.
Next is one of 19.
19 is made up of 10 white blocks and nine gray blocks.
She can't make any rectangles, but she doesn't mind because she's happy making crazy shapes.
I'm 19 and I make crazy shapes.
Check out some of the shapes I can make.
An elephant, a teapot, a spiral.
Here's more.
Number block 19.
Now here's number 20, the big dance number.
He's made up of 20 light orange blocks.
His favorite dance is the two-tenths tango.
And you can recognize him by his special bow tie and tip-top top hat.
How cute is that?
This plate is already attached to the hat so you can connect it to the block directly.
Number block 20.
I am 20.
Did someone say dance?
20 loves the two-tenths tango because it's made up of two-tenths of course.
Number block 20.
There's more.
Check out these fun activity cards.
Let's try some of them.
These four cards are based on the episode Ray Canyon,
where 12 challenges number blocks 1 to 6 to ride the rays to get to the top.
The numbers must change shape so the rows or columns will fit the rays.
Let's help the number solve the problem.
The first is a double ray.
We can start with number block 2 because he's two blocks wide
so he can ride this double ray to the next level.
So can number block 4 and number block 6.
Number block 6 is also three blocks tall so she can also ride the next set of rays.
But what about odd numbers 3, 1, and 5?
They can't make a rectangle two blocks wide.
Here is where we must make the numbers work together to solve the problem.
So what we can do is 1 plus 3 equals 4 and 4 plus 2 equals 6.
The next set of rays is four columns.
We can solve this by combining 6 and 6 to make 12,
who can make a rectangle four columns wide.
Yay!
The numbers are very close.
But what about this one?
It has five rays.
So what we can do is combine 3 and 2 to make 5.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Whee!
Yay!
The numbers are very close.
But the last set of rays is six blocks wide.
Between 3 and 2, they can't make more than 5.
Here comes number block 12 to the rescue.
She can be two blocks wide.
And three blocks tall.
And four blocks wide.
But even 12 can't be five blocks tall.
So 12 minus 2 equals 10.
Yay!
We're so close to the top.
10 plus 2 equals 12.
And she can be six blocks wide.
We made it!
Yay!
Congratulations!
Now with this next activity card, can you build number 16 in different ways?
That's right.
What about two eights?
Or four fours?
Or eight twos?
Or maybe 16 ones?
16!
