RIP Old Water Feature … We Have A Fabulous New One! ⛲️🎉🎉🎉
Oh my goodness, the weather has been so windy all weekend!! But we have a very exciting reveal for you this week!
You may remember we were going to renovate our existing fountain and even asked you all what colour we should paint it. But … try as we might (and believe me we did try) … neither Richard nor I could summon up any enthusiasm for the project, as we’ve already painted it twice before and just could not face it another time.
So, we spent a lot of time online trying to find a fountain we could both agree on (we have trouble agreeing 😆) and went out to three garden centres to look at what they had, and we found one at Alton Garden Centre and its also online at:

Its called the “Rippling Vase Water Feature” and is made by a company called Kelkay. GardenSite’s description is as follows:
“Referencing classic Roman design, the Rippling Vase has a distinctive texture that accentuates the appearance of glittering water as it pours over the sides into the bowl below.
LEDs illuminate the water's journey, and this means the feature can be enjoyed during the evening as well as daylight hours. It's made from high quality resin, a strong UV resistant material, and will be ideal for any outside space that needs the added interest that the sight and sound of running water will provide.
Similar to other Kelkay self-contained water features, this one is suitable to provide interest in a wide variety of locations, there's a 10m cable to power the internal pump that circulates the water and no plumbing is required.
