WEST HAM'S FAREWELL VIDEO FOR DECLAN RICE

Me going to West Ham, it kind of turned me into a man, you know, I had to start doing stuff for myself at a young age. I had to start, you know, depending on myself. Maybe if I stayed at Chelsea and got that contract, I might not be where I am today. I come into the team five years ago, I would have never have thought that I'd be West Ham club captain one day and, you know, to take it from Nobbs as well, it's a special. You want to show that you are one of the best. So you're constantly fighting with yourself to keep improving and keeping yourself at a consistent level where you perform really well each week and I try to do that as much as possible. It's Declan Wright again, two European games, two goals, West Ham lead. The last six years of, you know, playing my heart out for this club, absolutely would do anything to make this club win. It's a fantastic goal. It's a captain's goal. But this is what you do it for, these nights, these fans. Look how special it is, man. I'm telling you now, what a special group of people they are.
