VALENTINO UOMO BORN IN ROMA EDT VS EDP INTENSE

Hi guys, today I'm comparing the newest Valentino Uomo Born in Roma intense that just came out and the Eau de Toilette from the same line. The original was very, very popular but is the newer one, is it worth the money? Is it much better or is it just a snooze and a pass? Let's start with the Eau de Toilette. Eau de Toilette I have been recommending on this channel. By the way, this is a men's cologne channel from a woman's perspective for a long time. I really enjoy how fresh it is but with a difference, it's got a very prominent ginger note which makes it super fun. Kind of like you're just having a good time, you're going out, you want a cologne that is strong, that will project and that will be just masculine. But with a twist, this one is a safe bet. Although it's an Eau de Toilette, it projects really nicely and it also is a long-lasting cologne. So you'll get a good eight hours out of it. So you'll get eight hours plus from this cologne. So it's a great one. You can also get it everywhere. So it's easily accessible. I've got it sprayed here and man, it's really nice. It's kind of a tiny bit sour. It's a young, fresh sort of a cologne. If you want that youthful, masculine smell, no matter how old you are, this is a safe bet. It's such a good one. I loved this one. But then they've just released the intense version of it and I was so intrigued because I was like, anything more intense, it has potential to be really amazing. And let me tell you, it's very good. I sprayed it here and man, this fragrance is a killer. They took the original, they kind of took out the ginger prominent note and they made it really woodsy, dark, mysterious. I would even argue to me, this new cologne smells more masculine than the Eau de Toilette. When you really smell them side by side, this Eau de Toilette is so fruity, so like joyous. But when you smell it against this one, you're like, this is like a man, you know? And this is a boy. This is a whole other ballgame. It's really intense. It's super seductive. I would say this is a solid sort of everyday scent. It's really great. But this one really amps it up, really makes it seductive, intense, sexy and longevity. It's really great. It's like 8, even 10 plus hours and projection is also very strong on this one. So you get both of the scent profile being amazing and also the longevity and projection being really great. To me, because they've added a huge dose of lavender in here, it kind of reminds me a little bit of which is a very attractive cologne, but a bit more spicy and intense. But that lavender, I think they've also added bergamot in here. It's quite strong and quite reminiscent of that YSL La Nuit vibe. And that lavender in that cologne, they just nailed it and it's super addictive and seductive and they've just amped it up in this. It's very spicy to my nose. I smell a lot of like black pepper in here, which also makes it, adds to this really dark woodsy scent. It's extremely masculine. It's one of those colognes that is something you've smelled before. It's not like a niche sort of a super unique scent, but it is unique enough to not be mistaken for a lot of other designer fragrances. It kind of borrows from those really nice DNAs from other houses, but it's a standalone fragrance. And I think it's different enough to be worth purchasing because I personally, I smell it and I love it. I love the original, but this one, I would say it's a new 10 out of 10. I'll be recommending it at home because it's a solid one. This one was like a nine, but it's kind of dropped a little bit for like eight just because this one is such a great release that they've added. I mean, if you haven't checked it out, you have to check it out. It's so good, especially for coming fall and winter time. This amazing performance, an amazing attractive scent. You can wear it out and about, you can wear it to clubbing, you can wear it to work, maybe just a bit less sprays. It's just a perfect all-rounder sort of a scent. Highly recommend you check it out. If you are watching this and you kind of think, oh, what is this fragrance maybe similar to? So I know that I'll definitely probably like this fragrance. I would say this fragrance just borrows from a lot of other clones out there. It's a bit like spicy, like 1,000,000. It's got a bit of that. It's got lavender. They're similar to like YSL and Louis Delon. And it also borrows, I think from Azzara fragrances because Azzara fragrances have got a similar vibe to Valentino for some reason. They just do. So if you like this sort of a realm of a cologne, then this one is like marrying them all and making this fragrance so much more intense. And it's a great experience. So I'll link it down below.
