Rutgers professors may be going on strike, and here’s why.

On February 28, the Rutgers American Association of University Professors and American Federation of Teachers (AAUP-AFT) opened a strike authorization ballot after months of bargaining sessions to renew professors’ contracts. If the vote passes and a strike is authorized, this would be the first strike in the University’s 257-year history. Head News Editor, Brian Delk, takes us through the events that lead up to this monumental decision and what is yet to come if the vote passes.
