LUXURY ITALIAN PROPERTY IN POSITANO, AMALFI COAST

Hi everyone and welcome back to Italy. I am Danilo Romolini and today we are in the southern part of Italy. We are in the Amalfi Coast and specifically in Positano which is a magical village that is nestled on a hill overlooking this gorgeous sea. It is a beautiful place, have a look at how colorful it is right behind me. Today we are here to visit together an outstanding villa on an incredible position overlooking Positano. Are you ready to see it? Come with me. The villa can be accessed through two separate entrances. This is the main one and it leads us straight away onto this gorgeous huge terrace. Externally the property is about 700 square meters of terraces or balconies or little corners of garden and it has been laid on terraces to use at best all of these hilltop space. The villa is currently mostly used for events and as an hospitality business. In fact all of these spaces are perfect for that. For that reason it has been updated every year and it is in great immaculate condition. The terrace we've just seen extends onto one corner and here we find a beautiful jacuzzi over here and on the right it also has a convenient restroom. This terrace is perfect to sit down, to relax, to enjoy this fresh air, to enjoy the sun and this view. On this corner we have this beautiful large round table with these gorgeous paintings and details which is perfect to enjoy a meal outdoor. Imagine having breakfast right here in front of the sea. All of these spaces can access straight away onto the living areas indoor through all of these doors but we'll see them in a minute. I want to first show you how beautifully the terrace switches from stone to terracotta and over here it feels like a completely different outdoor space. This is the front terrace of the property and it's full of beautiful light colors. Have a look at this loggia with these arches. This is mostly used for breakfast and it has an incredible view. Positano over here, the island of Ligalli in the center and on the right the terrace wraps around the villa and we can even see the village of Praiano right there in the tip of the mountain. We're now inside the villa. We are on the ground level at the same level with the terraces we've seen. This is the main living space of the property. It is nice and broad full of natural light. Have a look at how high these ceilings are and I love how all of these different arches create these nice and cozy spaces like this one over here. This is a sitting area with this beautiful working fireplace, two windows on two sides overlooking the sea and then as we keep going we find another sitting space as well it has the terrace access. Over here there is this beautiful round table which is used as an indoor dining area even though of course outdoor is much more romantic and then right beside the dining area we find this space right here which could be considered an entrance but also an office space. This is right now a reception area and on this side we can notice how the villa has been built on a rock. In fact all around you will see there are some parts where the rock has been left exposed and it is very beautiful. By the dining area we find the bedroom on this level. This is the only bedroom and it is called Amalfi. Have a look at how pretty this little label is. Okay as we get inside you notice it has the very same shape as all of the living areas we've seen. The same beautiful detailed floor. It has air-conditioned and on this side its very own ensuite bathroom. The space keeps going. On my right we find the stairs to go to the lower levels, on the left we access to the kitchen. Have a look at this room. It is full of light, nice and broad high spaces. Over here we find the kitchen part. Right now it is a professional kitchen perfect for events with this beautiful island in the middle. The kitchen then extends on this side. It has also a part which is original. It has been now covered with this glass and this used to be the oven in the past. We can see some more exposed stone and some beautiful wooden beams and in the corner it also has its little outdoor area with an outdoor sink and you can cook food also outdoor. It is perfect because while you cook you can have a glance at the sea. The lower levels of the villa can be accessed either internally through this staircase or externally. There are several stairs around the terraces to go downstairs. Here we will find two bedrooms nice and large. One of them has its own ensuite bathroom and the other has a bathroom shared on the hallway. Both of the bedrooms have an incredible beautiful terrace which is private to them and that terrace is of course overlooking the magical Positano. We're now on the third lower ground level of the villa and it's where we find this incredible huge terrace. Outdoor spaces like this in Positano on a high position on the hill like this are something absolutely precious and incredible. Have a look at this view and imagine being out here organizing a summer event, a party or a gathering with your friends or with your family. This is the perfect location. The terrace then extends on the left to this beautiful corner. Have a look at it. It is full of lush plants, there is this beautiful antique well in the center and this is the perfect place to sit down and to relax in the quiet and enjoy this view. By the end of this little garden we find another bedroom with its own access and let me show you. It has its own little outdoor private space, this sitting area over here. As we go inside the room straight away starts with the bedroom over here. It is nice and cozy, all white and together with all these windows makes this room full of natural light. It has its own air conditioning like every other bedroom and over here it extends onto this beautiful corner. Have a look at this space. It has the bathtub over here, windows on two sides and on the ceiling and it overlooks the sea and Positano in the end. Finally the ensuite bathroom of the bedroom. Have a look at this cute bathroom. It has this beautiful shower, this is a one-of-a-kind shower with this rock where the house is built on top. This is a piece of mountain inside your shower, incredible. Then on the other side we find the lower terrace of the property. This is where we find this incredible swimming pool. It is really large and already a terrace is something special but a pool like this in Positano is really hard to find. Have a look on this side over here. We have a sunbathing area. On my right there is this large round table perfect for this pizza oven right here. Ideal to have a nice pizza dinner with your friends or with your family in front of the pool and in front of these two big olive trees. The last bedroom I would like to show you is called Ligalli, like the island right there that we see in the distance. It starts right here after this gate and it also has its access to the swimming pool through these stairs. So in here we are in its private area. It keeps going on this side. Have a look at this little terrace, it is immaculate with these beautiful detailed tiles on the floor. Here we have the terrace with the view on Positano. Today we have a fantastic day with clear skies. There is also an outdoor shower if you would like to refresh in the warmer days and on the left over here the bedroom starts. This is such a private, cozy and romantic spot. Have a look at this view. Right here it looks like a postcard and it looks like you're about to touch Positano. This room of course has its view but also has its ensuite bathroom nearly fully covered with marble. Have a look. We've now gotten to the end of today's property tour.
