SIKHISM | Nagar Kirtan. Celebration of the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji.(#CelebremBCN)
Nagar Kirtan is one of the major festivals of the Sikh community. It celebrates the birth of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1469-1539). The Sikh community usually celebrates its birthday during the full moon of the eighth month (katak) of its calendar, approximately between October and November.
