Pharrell Williams not only has made a mark on the global fashion industry from launching
his own clothing lines like Billionaire Boys Club and long-term partnerships with iconic
brands like Chanel, he's also succeeded in his music career, winning 13 Grammy Awards.
With a net worth reported at $250 million, Pharrell enjoys the fruits of his labor with
stunning properties from California to Florida.
While he sold most of his Los Angeles real estate, including his strikingly modern glass
home in Hollywood back in 2022 for $9.2 million, and another property he owned in Beverly Hills
back in 2020, it's said that his main family residence these days is his $30 million waterfront
mansion in Coral Gables, Florida.
Pharrell moved here with his family in 2020, and the property spans over 17,000 square
feet of space, with amenities like a library, pub-style bar, an elevator servicing all floors,
as well as 35 feet of waterfront.
Around the time the pandemic came along in 2020, Pharrell decided to make some changes
for himself and his family, moving from his properties in LA to a gorgeous estate in Florida.
He dished out about $30 million for a residence called El Palmar, a unique mega-mansion in
the heart of Coral Gables, Florida.
On one of its largest waterfront property, Coral Gables is a city near Miami, and Pharrell's
family compound, well, it spans about 3.5 acres, located right on the ocean, more specifically
with 35 feet of waterfrontage.
His Florida home is quite impressive, as you might expect, boasting over 17,000 square
feet of space, as well as 9 bedrooms and nearly 12 bathrooms.
It was built in 2006, and crafted by renowned architect Cesar Molina, while the tropical
landscaping outside is the work of Raymond Jungles.
El Palmar is decked out with art, native species in the garden, a koi pond, and coral rock
pathways, while indoors, there's an open living room with large windows and a fireplace.
Elsewhere, another classy sitting room features wood-paneled walls, floors, and ceilings complete
with a TV and another fireplace.
Over in the expansive kitchen, there's an island for cooking as well as eating breakfast
if you choose to do so at the breakfast bar.
Not to mention, there are top-of-the-line appliances, and all the bells and whistles
any good chef's kitchen truly needs.
Other amenities in Pharrell's mega-mansion include a quiet library, a 2,000-bottle wine
cellar, pub-style bar, a private service wing, and an elevator servicing all floors.
Most of the second-floor bedrooms in the home open out onto spacious balconies and overlook
the pool, palm trees, and ocean.
Outside there's an impressive summer kitchen, ideal for entertaining, and a hotel-worthy
swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers.
All of the private waterfront Pharrell has access to at this estate is a luxury, too,
and he and his family can take the ultimate advantage of the Florida weather at either
the beach or their swimming pool.
Before moving to Florida, most of Pharrell's stunning real estate holdings were located
on the West Coast in Los Angeles, as you might expect.
In 2020, the star first listed one of his architectural marvels of a home for $11.95
million, but it ended up selling in early 2022 for $9.2 million.
This gated property was located high above LA's Laurel Canyon, and Pharrell purchased
it in 2015 for $7.1 million.
The residence is uber-contemporary and slightly boomerang-shaped, designed by acclaimed Hoggy
Belsberg and completed in 2007.
If you're familiar with the Ryan Gosling flick, Crazy Stupid Love, you might've spotted
the unique hilltop house, because it played Gosling's bachelor pad in the 2011 film.
Located on 1.5 acres of land, this home is covered in glass and windows, and is characterized
by its single-folded plate roof.
Since the lot is basically on a steep hillside, to accommodate the main house and a separate
guest house, Belsberg noted that the structures had to be very long and narrow to fit the
long and narrow shape of the buildable estate.
Inside, the contemporary abode looks minimalistic and spans about 5,800 square feet, with six
beds, five full baths, and two half-baths.
While there's also a detached two-story guest house, so in total, the structures span
about 6,000 square feet.
Pharrell's former Hollywood Hills home had 280-degree mountain, canyon, and city views,
looking over LA and the San Fernando Valley, but it was still private enough to fit any
celebrity standard.
Inside, the common rooms included a giant glass-walled living room, which opened directly
to the infinity pool, and a formal dining area set against a floor-to-ceiling green
wall.
The organic and modern kitchen had full-height windows framing the mountains, as well as
a large island.
While elsewhere, the master suite featured a fireplace and ensuite bath, covered in dollar-bill
colored green marble.
The west side of Pharrell's home was designed to absorb the heat of the sun, and the glass-walled
east side opens to a yard.
The grounds of the home offer lawns and a long, infinity-edged pool and spa.
And the guest house is separated from the main one by a motor court, which doubles as
an outdoor entertainment space.
One of the estate's undoubtedly coolest features is the outdoor movie theater, which
works due to a projector, and the guest house's single-plate roof.
When it's dark, outside the main home's living room, guests can enjoy movies projected
onto the outside wall of the guest house, while they sit in an outdoor lounge area on
top of the garage.
Then, if you prefer a different view, you can also head down to the motor court, which
Felsberg designed to function both as a parking lot and a gathering spot for friends and family.
Now, this wasn't the only home Pharrell owned in LA.
In 2020, he sold another super-modern glass-style home for $14 million, which he had purchased
from film and TV tycoon Tyler Perry back in 2018 for $15.6 million.
Seems that despite the time passed, Pharrell actually ate a bit of a loss selling the space.
This gigantic modern mansion was located in the mountains between Beverly Hills and Sherman
Oaks, more specifically in the posh Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood on four sprawling
acres of land overlooking downtown LA.
The home boasts some super-unique architecture made up of right angles, steel, and a ton
of glass that it's almost museum-like.
In fact, the entire mansion, which spans an impressive 17,475 square feet, looks like
it's an all-glass house.
Custom-built back in 1992, the structure offers 10 beds and 11 baths, as well as a 200-foot
driveway, which keeps this estate private from neighbors.
The home is full of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, multiple levels, and an open floor
plan.
Glass double-entry doors welcome you into the home, and they look like they belong at
a hotel or a contemporary office building.
Instead of your average entryway, there's a lobby-like entrance with an interior waterfall
feature.
And the airy entrance hall also has overlapping stone marble staircases and skylights for
more natural light.
There's a great room surrounded by multiple other entertaining spaces, and on the ground
floor, there's a games room entirely lined on one side with sharply angled glass walls
anchored by a bold fireplace.
Elsewhere, the formal dining room is decorated by a rock chandelier above, while the breakfast
nook is very sunny with all glass and soaring ceilings.
In the somewhat oddly-shaped kitchen, you'll find a restaurant-quality oven range and paneled
lighting.
Upstairs, many of the guest bedrooms feature interconnected balconies and a massive master
suite that Pharrell once utilized has a modern fireplace and outdoor access.
Aside from all the indoor and outdoor space, there's even a sprawling rooftop terrace
perfect to lounge.
The grounds also feature koi ponds with a stream that flows throughout the estate, tennis
courts, rock sculptures, a grotto, and a resort-like pool with a waterfall.
While Pharrell might've had a slight loss selling that home, it's nothing when you
compare it to the wins in his portfolio.
In 2021, he even ventured into the hotel business, partnering up with industry veteran David
Grutman, and they opened The Good Time Hotel in Miami's South Beach.
The 266-room Art Deco-style hotel is located just a few steps from the beach, and the property's
According to the Miami Herald, this was a $200 million project.
The duo have also collaborated on another project somewhere else, a new luxury hotel
with 400 rooms, bungalows, and a lobby that's being built on the Bahamas' Paradise Islands,
which is said to open January 2024.
After taking a look at a few of Pharrell Williams' homes past and present, that's gonna bring
today's house tour to a close.

My name's Cara the Vampire Slayer, and if you wanna stick around for another video,
then stay tuned, because next up, we are going to look into the homes of Kanye West.
Bye!
It seems like only yesterday we reported on Kanye's new architectural Malibu home, but
it appears that he just made the news for another real estate purchase.
This time, the rapper has bought a completely unremarkable crib for $4.5 million, but here's
the kicker, it's directly across the street from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's home, the
ultra-modern compound the estranged couple once shared.
In comparison to that mansion, Kanye's new purchase is totally unimpressive, spanning
3,600 square feet of space with pretty outdated interiors, but today we're gonna take a look.
In these videos, we don't reveal any addresses, and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Kanye West is a rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, businessman, and more, who's
been a major influence in 21st century hip-hop and pop culture.
It's no doubt then, that he's one of the world's best-selling music artists, who's
also amassed an estimated net worth of $1.8 billion.
Kanye also tends to be a man of his word, and when he has inspiration, he takes action
quickly.
Just the other month, he made a surprise announcement claiming he had plans to get his family back
together, which also means his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
He also added that if he couldn't live in the family home, he would quote, buy the home
right next door.
He may not have got the home next door, but he did snag the one directly across the street,
which is pretty damn close.
From here, Kanye can keep an eye on the kids and Kim herself.
If you watch this channel, you'd know that Kim and Kanye spent years and millions of
dollars constructing their unique, empty looking and massive Hidden Hills estate, but in October
2021, Kim paid Kanye 23 million dollars to buy out his share of the property, and his
new place, well let's just say it isn't even in the same league.
Hey everyone, I'm Kara the Vampire Slayer bringing you another exclusive house tour
here on Famous Entertainment.
This time, we're checking out Kanye's latest home, the one right across the street from
his ex-wife.
Be sure to like, subscribe and follow me on Instagram to chat.
Now let's get into this video.
It seems that Kanye wasn't bluffing when he said he would buy the house next door to his
ex-wife Kim if he couldn't move back in with them.
And even though he recently bought himself a new Malibu mansion, he's actually now bought
a house across the street from Kim's compound in Hidden Hills.
Located in the exclusive, guard-gated community of Hidden Hills, a neighbourhood set in the
Santa Monica Mountains, and known for being home to many actors and celebrities, Kanye's
new purchase sits on just over an acre of land.
The fact that it's directly across the street from the old Kimye compound has gotta be the
only reason why Kanye bought it, because, well, despite it's 4.5 million dollar price
tag, it's relatively unimpressive.
His modest bachelor pad pales in comparison to their marital compound, built in 1955 and
owned by the same family ever since, with little to no modern updates throughout.
The house is a single-level ranch-style abode with a spacious 3,600 square feet, 5 beds
and 3.5 baths.
Kanye's new property does have a perfectly maintained grassy lawn out front, along with
gardens and landscaping, but once inside, the home is certainly outdated.
Given Kanye's passion for architecture and design, his Malibu house being created by
a legendary Japanese designer, and the former family mansion fully decked out in a super
minimalistic and artsy vibe, we can assume the rapper will gut this home completely before
setting a date to move in.
I mean Kanye's vision was a huge part of designing the former family compound where Kim's living,
and he worked alongside some of the most exclusive designers to make his dream home come to life.
We just can't see him settling for this.
Regardless, Kanye really wanted this new house, paying $421K over asking to secure it.
Despite the aged decor in the house, the property looks like it was well taken care of.
And that beautiful grass out front, well reportedly, that's recently installed AstroTurf, which
is good for water bills and keeping it look good during the hot LA summers.
Much easier maintenance.
Walking in the yellow home, many of the interiors boast wall-to-wall carpeting, including the
common rooms at the front, one living area boasting a full wall stone fireplace across
from a massive window.
There's also a wooden clad great room with double height beam ceilings on one half, a
brick fireplace and sliding doors out to the pool.
Here there's also some curtains that look like they could be decades old.
The kitchen in Kanye's new investment was remodeled back in 2005 which was better than
nothing and offers a large island, granite counters and basic white appliances.
I'm sure those will all be traded in for top of the line stainless ones in no time
though.
Some of the bathrooms in the home have a definite 80's vibe, one of which we can see is painted
in a strange pale shade of green.
Also on Kanye's property there's a humble sized guest studio with another bedroom and
full bathroom attached to the garage, and good to use as staff quarters.
I gotta say, looking outside and seeing the horse stable is complete with some cute horses
inside – that made me like the place a lot more.
The terrace backyard also boasts an oversized swimming pool located directly outside the
main living room.
Let's not forget that just a few months ago Kanye also purchased an architectural
style home in Malibu.
Since Kanye paid a visit to Naoshima, the Japanese art island designed by award winning
architect Tadao Ando, the rapper has been obsessed.
He claimed this art was life changing and once upon a time he even said he wanted to
live inside a sculpture.
This property is as close as one could get to living inside a sculpture.
Kanye dropped a massive 57.3 million dollars in an off market deal for this new Malibu
crib which is only one of a few properties designed by the famed architect located in
the US.
Kanye's boxy style abode seems to be right up his alley with its minimalistic and eccentric
design.
The house was first offered at 75 million dollars last year so it appears the rapper
actually got a deal on the place, purchasing it off of finance mogul Richard Sachs, also
known as the ex-boyfriend of Ashley Olsen.
While Sachs lived here he dropped millions of dollars in 7 years of his time to plan
and construct this unique 3 story home that looks like a military bunker to say the least.
Reportedly the building required 1,200 tons of poured concrete, 200 tons of steel reinforcement
and 12 pylons stuck 60 feet deep into the ground to support the massively heavy house
and to avoid it sinking into the sand.
While the concrete home was designed by a famous architect, fans don't seem to be impressed.
One person on Instagram wrote, Kanye living in a parking garage, while another said his
new residence, quote, looks like a high end bunker for a cult leader.
Alright guys so once again we've looked at the homes of Kanye West.
This time his completely out of character run of the mill house he bought just to spy
on his ex-wife Kim K.
I mean that might not be the case, but we can't ignore the fact that it sits directly
across the street from where she's living in their former compound.
Kanye is also known for his grand gestures and he did pay nearly half a million over
asking for a home that's completely not his style.
So when the shoe fits.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on Kanye's latest property purchase, or the situation
in general?
What about his other new home in Malibu?
Be sure to let me know down in the comment section.
Thanks for watching!
