Hey everybody, it's Solly with Vintage Discoveries here with some vintage jewelry haul.
I got a lot of great stuff.
Went to Connecticut to the Elephant's Trunk.
Flee market was opening day.
I kind of wish I would have waited.
I think a lot of people didn't show up because of the weather.
They wouldn't allow tents or canopies so because it was windy, I mean really windy and it was
really cold.
So, but I'd like to go back.
I did get some great stuff.
So, I got this.
I did clean it up a little bit because it was really dirty but it's made in Mexico.
Sterling 925.
I'm not sure what that symbol is.
I'll have to look it up.
But you know I like the pin pendant combination.
I like the versatility.
I like the faux opal.
I like the size of it.
So, love that.
Another Mexico piece.
Kind of a sun with the abalone.
Looks like it has the same maker. Sterling. I'm not sure what this is. Sterling, but I'm not sure what's in the middle.
Pin pendant. Love that.
Got this ring. I love the signet style.
Definitely black glass or an onyx. I'm going to go with black glass, the way that it's made.
I can't see any light showing through it, but I just love that style.
I don't know why, but I do. Really cool.
And that's just Mark 925.
Then I picked this up because I love the cut of those rhinestones. I don't know why. I'm just attracted to that.
And it happens to be one of my favorite makers, which I'm not sure if you can see it, but it says Vandell Sterling.
Trust me, it does. So I love that.
My hands were so cold, it was even hard to pick things up. It was, I'm telling you.
But yeah, I'm just sorting through my stuff. I found some other stuff. I do have some other stuff I picked up, but this I've had for a while and I don't even know.
Why I have it, what I'm doing with it and why I continue to keep it.
I guess because I like the scarabs, but it's just a big plastic scarab.
I could swear there was some sort of jewelry that had huge scarabs in them and they were plastic.
And it could be, what's her name? Sold on, I guess, H&S or you know who I'm talking about. Joan Rivers.
And she had a lot of interchangeable jewelry where you can pop the different colors in or things like that.
So I'm thinking this was something to Joan Rivers. I'm going to look that up. It just hit me like an epiphany.
Did I show you my favorite necklace? I don't even remember.
This is gold filled scarab with natural stones. It's super short. It's like 15 inches. It's made very well.
It is gold filled and it looks like WRE, right? Is that what you're saying?
Really pretty stones. Look at them. Look at that. Really made well.
And gold filled. I love the gold filled jewelry.
So that, this one I still have to write down because as soon as I think I've got it, I don't got it.
But if anybody's familiar with this, Tortini. It's very well made. Heavy. Tortellini, Tortini, something like that.
Got this sent to me by Anitra, I Spy Queens. So definitely check her out.
She's got a lot of good videos and she picks up a lot of good stuff.
I do believe this is coral. This is another shorty, but really pretty.
These earrings I actually wore that I love. Can't escape the dog barking.
I thought, oh, it's going to be nice and quiet. No, not my doggie, not my doggie.
But these are almost like anchors, right? I don't know if I showed you guys these.
It's happening. It's happening.
I love those.
Who doesn't love an all rhinestone Christmas pin? Come on. Come on.
This one, the glitter in the background just makes me so happy.
Got some wear on there. Just that glitter gets me.
I thought maybe there was a name in there, but there isn't.
But I just love that glitter. And that little candle. So cute.
Here's another thing that I keep holding on to, thinking I'm going to put something in it.
I like the shape of this. And I know I run across cameos all the time that don't have any settings.
So what the heck? No, this won't do it. No. Too big.
But I held on to this, this glass one. Doesn't fit either. Too big.
But anyway, I like the style of it. I'll find something one day.
It may not necessarily be a cameo. You know what I mean?
Change it up. Something different.
Oh, remember this? I showed last time. And I thought it was silver or silver plated. I gotta test it.
I keep thinking there's a mark or something I'm missing.
But I took the polishing cloth and polished it up nice.
Cute little flower.
These I should wear because I really like the dangleness of them.
This is onyx. They're a little bit roughed up because I think somebody tested them.
And they were very careless. They didn't care what they were doing to it.
But these are 14k. Really pretty on.
This one I love. So well made.
And then you would think, like, why isn't it marked with anything?
But then again, there's a lot of unmarked jewelry that's really, really nice quality.
Right? Juliana, for instance.
That's so pretty.
I love that.
What else?
Oh, this I had on my eBay.
It's Miracle. That brand Miracle.
That's Scottish.
That's glass. Art glass.
I took everything off practically and just started again.
I put on those barrettes. Remember the Goody Barrettes?
They sold already. It's been only a couple days.
So, pretty impressed with that.
So, what else did I get?
Oh, another ring that I just fell in love with.
I put it right on my finger because I didn't want to put it back down again.
But I didn't realize it was kind of got a dent there.
You know?
But, you know, I don't really notice.
I just love it.
It's so Victorian looking.
Just love the shape of it.
I love all the scroll work.
Can't really notice.
And he did have a wide band.
I don't know why I'm attracted to the wide band.
So beautiful. Oh my gosh, I should have taken a picture.
And I just couldn't justify the price.
It was $85.
It was thin.
It wasn't heavy.
And I just couldn't as much as I wanted to.
I could probably have negotiated something.
But how far would it have been down?
That's still quite the price.
But this is so pretty.
Yes.
This I had on my eBay.
Like I said, I took everything off.
I started over and I'm just doing a little bit at a time.
I was happy to sell the barrettes.
So that was cool.
This I had on my eBay.
And I'm telling you, if it was $18,
that was, you know, what it was or something.
And I had somebody email me and say,
how do you justify that price?
They messaged me through eBay.
I said, what?
Oh my goodness.
All right.
This.
Can you believe this?
Cling and clang.
If you grew up in the 60s, 70s,
something like that, you'll know.
They were in HR pub and stuff.
So it was there was a whole box full of
just plastic rings and all kinds of stuff.
And I saw this and instantly knew who it was.
Oh, I didn't realize there's something in the back.
But when I looked it up, it said, oh, 1970.
Yeah, it's definitely Sid and Marty Croft Productions Inc.
Cool.
When I looked it up, it said one listing had that it was from.
You can get it in a cereal box that I wasn't sure about.
But I did get it for $2 and I saw it was sold.
One was sold for $45.
So that's pretty cool.
I love that show.
And every time I put on my concealer on my eyes
and it's not, you know, rubbed in good enough,
I look like that witchy poo on there.
Look her up.
HR pub and stuff.
But yeah, loved, loved, loved that show.
It's nostalgia. It still is. It is.
And I'm going to do a little bit more research.
But 1970, that's so awesome.
But yes, I got a bunch more stuff.
But I'm going to have to cut this video here
and I will make another one with the rest of the stuff, of course.
And I will have a sale soon.
I can't wait to have an auction.
And I'll let everybody know in advance.
