I set off hiking into the Angeles National Forest of Southern California near Switzer Falls to find the hidden, beautiful, natural pool known as Royal Pool. I found numerous other nice pools and natural slides along the way in Bear Canyon and had stunning views of hidden campsites in the gorge from up on the ridge line.
