Let's keep heading up. I want to slip down there. This is incredible.
Good morning Fran, what are we up to today? Good morning and welcome back to another episode.
We are exploring a total different set of islands and they are absolutely stunning. Yeah,
this place is absolutely incredible. Definitely some of the best islands we've ever been to.
You regular viewers will know that we're still living from the oceans. At some point today
we're going to have to dive in and see what we can catch, but for now let's go for an explore.
Where to first Fran? The way here it looks like there was a track going inland. We're hopeful
that one of these tracks leads up to the top of one of these mountains which will give us a
viewpoint over this incredible kind of lagoon. Let's see if we can get there. Into the jungle
we go. Pretty steep. It's amazing rainforest for the walk up anyway. I want to slip down there.
Starting to get to a bit of a viewpoint. Wow, let's keep heading up.
Spiderman. Lucky the tree's roots are strong hey, give you something to hold on to.
Holy moly, look at that. Wowee. That's definitely worth the hike up. Look down there you can see
all the beautiful corals. We've got like a almost a 360 degree view here. This is
incredible. We're going to put the drone up just to fully take in this view. Wow.
Fran. Oh this is magical and it's glassy. Beautiful hey. Look at that. It's so good to see that places
like this still exist completely unspoilt by us humans, but it's stinking hot. Let's get down
there and jump in for a swim. It looks absolutely beautiful. Anyone that would have watched the
latest B2B adventures episode would realize that here's got some world-class scuba diving and
because of that reason we don't actually want to go spearfishing here. It's important to leave
some of these areas pristine and unspoilt. So we're going to jump in the tender and go further
afield to an area we can go spearfishing and hopefully catch something this afternoon.
There's a moo. Hey mister, look at that Jack. Look at that. So glassy. Jack, guess what I just spotted?
Yeah, what have you spotted? I think there's still mantas over there.
One o'clock. Oh straight ahead now. The mantas. Let's go see if we can swim with them. Yeah.
Oh there's tuna jumping at the back. There you go. Jack is gearing up and jumping in.
We're just there hey? Yeah. How exciting. A bit of a current line here where all the bait fish are. Look
behind you there's so many bait fish.
They're coming straight towards us and there was a turtle there as well. What an
amazing spot. Together now. Right here look they're coming straight towards us
with their mouths open feeding like that. That is awesome. This is the real hot spot here where all
of what they're feeding on all the plankton is ending up here but unfortunately there's a whole
heap of plastic that's ended up there as well. Hopefully they can dodge the plastic as they're
feeding. Another manta right here. The currents in this place are crazy. Absolutely unbelievable.
It's like creating a wave. You know how some people can surf in a river like when they
when the current rips out. It's like that. We've almost got a standing wave behind us.
This is incredible. Fran's saying from the drone looks like there's a lake and i can see a few
mangrove trees which are a bit of a giveaway sign. We'll try get in and have a bit of an explore.
How cool is that mountain range up behind it there. What a bloody beautiful spot.
All right we've decided we're going to try and go in and explore. It's very shallow but we're
going nice and slow and just floating over here. Fran's flying the drone. Looks deep in there.
There's some mangroves here in crystal clear water. Now this is where we'd love to look for
mud crabs. So we're just going to kind of have a bit of a look in here and see what we can see.
Look at that. Mangroves on this side. Deep hole in the middle. Beautiful palm tree tropical beach on
the other side. Careful Jack don't step on it. Stingray here. You can just see his tail and he'll have a barb
about halfway back on that tail. The rest of his body's up underneath that tree. You can sit on that.
This is really interesting. Either this is an anemone we've never seen before
or a jellyfish that's upside down. Stingray. Oh you've got a bit of a spook.
Now up in this section here if there was crocodiles in this in this area I reckon this would be the
best spot for him to call home. So we're going to come have a quick look up here see if there's any
croc slides behind the mangrove. Look at these giant clams. This one's still alive. Yeah yeah these ones are
alive Fran but they're just dry at low tide. I wonder why they're gathering here. So these are obviously
dried up shells. Oh this one's alive. This big one's still alive. Oh these guys can survive out of the
water for a fairly long time so I'm just going to leave him here and then that tide's now incoming.
That tide's going to come up and submerge him once again. No obvious croc slides which is reassuring.
Sometimes they're right up back here kind of in the in the jungle especially when they're nesting
but nothing to report here. Oh you all right? Stingray? Did it get you?
Anyway there's beautiful coral here so let's go check out that white sandy beach across there.
Oh wow it drops off so quickly. What an interesting formation.
Leave them alone they're gonna bite you.
He just called me over. What did you find? I thought I was about to step on a crocodile's head. Oh jack.
What did you find Fran? Look at this shell. Trocus shell. Beautiful little blacktip reef shark.
Look at that anemone. That's beautiful. Hey guys sorry didn't mean to scare you.
We made it to another set of islands. Jack is about to jump in
and I'm gonna keep an eye on the surface for crocodiles.
You better keep a good lookout. So glassy. Beautiful hey?
Jack has taken a couple of dives but apparently it's too murky so we're gonna change spot.
Looks like there's some rain coming. No luck.
Blue hole it's a little bit murky unfortunately but I did spot either a wreck of an aeroplane
or like an old channel marker or buoy that's floated in so that was pretty cool and a giant
clam like a giant giant clam. Really? But let's go find some cleaner water.
This formation here looks pretty good so Jack is about to jump in on the drop off.
Let's see what we can find. Thank you. Good luck.
Jack is about to go in the cave. Looks promising. Check out that cave.
There's a big school of moo I've spotted just down here. They are very shy so I'm going to
take a dive hide behind a rock or in a cave and see if I can pick one just the right size.
Oh look at all these sparrows. Oh into the glare. And a turtle frowning up the front.
So much life in the shallows here. Look at all these fish jumping.
All right we just pulled up on a beach and we're gonna have a little bit of a cook up.
It's getting late. What's there Jack? Look at that. Look at this Jack. That's all
ah barbecue racks or where they can dry the fish. What an interesting spot.
So many clam shells. Doesn't look like any of this has been used for a while.
I do not want to touch you but you got pretty colors.
A tiny little shark in the shallow. Just in time for dinner. Almost ready.
All right we're about to have a bit of a date night on the beach here. Fish cooked straight
on the fire. It's gonna be nice eh Fran? Yeah and at night time the fireflies come out which
we haven't seen it since we were young. Yeah. And the all hill covers up with clusters of
fireflies. It's amazing. It's pretty special. We'll try and get a good camera out one night
and get that for you. It's pretty magic. But for now we're gonna leave you guys.
Thanks so much for watching. See you guys. See you tomorrow. Subscribe and come for the
adventure next Sunday. Do that. Do that. See you guys.
