Alexander Zverev vs Dominic Thiem: EPIC Shots & Rallies

Oh, beauty! What a feel! Unable to go through him, so he found a different route. Another wonderful forehand that was working so well against Nadal earlier this week, too. That's a big confidence booster for Zverev. Oh, there we go! First of the night for these backhands down the line. It's almost an inside-out backhand. Now, surround the net. That's great anticipation for a team. 15 minutes, he got up to this. Captain Ma's game, as you say. You can see he moved early to the cross-court. He was waiting for it. A couple of massive forehands. Oh, that's a nice start. Not much court to work with. Threats the needle. Not 15. He's not going to go down without a fight. Sasha Zverev. Just too solid. There's no way through for Zverev. It's one of the adjustments he's made to his hard-court game, coming to the net more. He held his nerve there. It is quite incredible. Jaw-dropping stuff from Dominic Thiem. Oh, what a point from both players. Oh, that was naughty. Perhaps shouldn't have been in the point, but it was allowed the opportunity here. Yeah, a little bit of fortune off the net court. An absolute thunderbolt of a forehand. And he was able to soften Zverev up. A moment of magic from Dominic Thiem, showing us what he's capable of. It's Zverev that books a place in the Eights Masters 1000 final of his career. Two close friends with a warm embrace. The German will get a shot of winning inside the magic box for a second time. Too much today for Dominic Thiem.
