Quality ball striking from Sitsapas. It's a big miss for the second serve. Gaske will accept the gift.
Pink forehand from Sitsapas. Yeah, dangerous when given a little bit of...
Rock solid play. Staple play. Switch things up but it still works. An epic set at set
goes the way of Gaske. Does pick up an early break just like he did in set one.
Wow. There's been some reaction from the top seed here in Stuttgart. Oh, Gaske not done yet.
Overall that's an excellent set of tennis. Devilish slice.
Surfaces. Take some adaption. Boy, it's a beautiful shot. Got it this time though.
Again. It's a really clever serve. That backing up the line again. Richard Gaske
steps into the 600 club. A 600 tour level win.
Has to get forward. Fairly quick. Oh, super control from Fritz. Just makes it look so
comfortable. Oh, that's wonderful. Chip and charge. Like that it evaporates. Really good serve.
Nicely done in so many ways. The gymnastics halfway through the rally.
Fabulous finish from Taylor Fritz to an opening set that was compelling.
Such a good volley again because the return was good. Had enough time and space.
Not this time though in the forecourt for Karatze. Into the quarterfinals goes Taylor Fritz
and the number two seed made to really work hard by Aslan Karatze.
That's outstanding from Fuccevic.
First strike to Marton Fuccevic. Oh, acrobatic stuff. Count two.
Boris Becker, eat your heart out. Indeed. Oh, that is outstanding from Fuccevic.
Goodness me. Well, that was a little bit of a gift. He's quick. He's not that quick. Excellent
fight back from Rui Yibing in the second set. Oh, that's supremely well. As he was stretching forward,
he had to play one-handed here, Fuccevic. Redirecting time and space. Oh, it was all
about the change of direction down the line on the backhand from Fuccevic.
He's back in the quarterfinals in Stuttgart again. Marton Fuccevic, a first visit to the
last day to the ATP Tour level. Yeah, nice quick hands. Sharp play from Paul at the front of the
court. Didn't think he could hit it that hard and still find the court, but he does. Did well
there, Paul, just to ask the question, but Struth has all the answers. Both players doing well on the
stretch and look at the accuracy there. He had to put the brakes on and change direction pretty
quickly. Struth is a big boy. Serve dominated set ends with an ace and that secures the opener
for Jan-Leonard Struth. Just the one mini break needed in the tiebreak. Tidy tennis from Jan-Leonard
Struth, who for the first time gets his nose in front in set two. That's well covered. We're
seeing that here. Was he a little safe there? So far up. What a return that is as well. Oh,
what a shot that is. The year just keeps getting better for Jan-Leonard Struth
into the quarterfinals in Stuttgart for the second time in his career.
