We explored the beautiful Koh Larn Island off the coast of Pattaya, Thailand and found some amazing hidden beaches that were totally empty, even during peak season. In this video, I show you exactly how to find these magnificent hidden gems of Koh Larn Island.

We found this awesome, hidden white sand beach.
We are exploring Koh Larn today.
Koh Larn is an island about 45 minutes
off the coast of Pattaya, Thailand.
To get here, the ferry costs only 30 baht,
which is one U.S. dollar, so we're gonna see
if we can get a little bit off the beaten track,
although it's a pretty small island.
All the spots are pretty well-known,
but let's see what kind of trouble
we can get into today on Koh Larn.
Wow, this is pretty chaotic.
A lot of people here, peak season right now.
So, it might be hard to find a private little beach
like I was hoping to find.
First stop on Koh Larn, Newall Beach.
The scooter was 10 bucks for the day to rent, 300 baht.
Gas tank was full, so this is a super packed place,
but it's supposed to be good snorkeling here,
so I don't know how long we're gonna stay,
but check it out.
Beautiful water, nice white sand beach.
Just a ton of people, though, so I'm hoping
there's a, like the southwest side of the island.
Looks pretty remote, like you have to
climb down a rocky cliff to get to the water,
so I'm hoping to get to that later on,
but this has a little rocky shore
on the other side of this beach here
that supposedly there was good snorkeling here,
but there's also a whole ton of boats.
Okay, so we're just following this trail around.
This might go to the rocky point I was trying to get to.
No one else, there's a few Russians following us, though,
so not sure if we're gonna jump in here.
Water looks nice.
They seem to have a big garbage problem here, though.
A lot of garbage on the shore here.
So, there is a trail on the south side
of Newall Beach there, and it led us here
to this cove.
No one else is here, so I think this is the first spot
we're gonna check out the water.
Not a white sand beach, but nobody here,
so that's the way I like it.
Snorkeling not that great right here,
but I think there's a sea cave over there,
so I'm gonna go check that out.
You guys know how I love sea caves,
and I was thinking with this rocky coastline,
there might be some interesting little sea caves
or possibly a cliff jump to explore,
so excited to go check that out.
Much of a cave there.
Ton of sea urchins around here, though,
so I'm glad I'm wearing shoes.
Actually, right over there,
where there's a little bit of sand on that beach over there
is the area I wanted to explore.
I thought we were gonna have to come down
from that cliff up there, but we just hiked around.
Easy enough to get here.
This little grotto area is super cool,
and there's a tunnel right there.
It's maybe 15 or 20 feet through.
I'm not sure if I can do it safely,
but I'm just gonna scope it out.
That was cool.
So beautiful.
Think about all the people we saw at those other beaches.
Not a single person here.
This would be a place that they would probably take you
in one of these private boat trips or something,
and in fact, where we were earlier,
I see a couple boats over there now.
Save money, do it yourself.
So I found a spot here.
I think they cliff jumped this when the tide is higher,
but not deep enough right now.
Ropes out and stuff.
Climb back up.
Couple good jump spots there too, a ledge.
This was like three or four feet higher.
Be nice.
Right around this point, it's rougher,
and actually, there's another,
it looks like another popular beach over there,
so we'll probably go back and enjoy our little grotto cove
and our little white sandy private beach.
I'm actually surprised we were able
to find an off-the-beaten-path spot here on Colorn.
I was a little worried when we got off the ferry,
because there's just so many people,
and they were piling into the Songtaos,
the first beach we went to, a ton of people.
Something like 8,000 to 10,000 people come here every day,
and there's probably like 20,000 here today
because it's the peak of high season,
and man, to have this little slice of paradise
all to ourselves, I feel really, really lucky.
A little rocky coastline with that cave
and that little grotto area,
this beautiful white sand beach here.
They definitely have a garbage problem here on Colorn.
A lot of garbage in the bushes and on the beaches.
Pack out your garbage.
Don't step on coral.
If you are snorkeling or swimming and you see coral,
I would advise not to step on anything.
First of all, if you step on the coral,
it kills it and damages it, and it never grows back.
The other thing is there's a lot of sea urchins here,
so if you go in the water,
definitely wear some foot protection.
I always have my Stealth Rubber Adidas Tera-X on.
I'll put a link in the description.
A lot of people ask me what water shoes I like
for hiking in creeks and rivers,
and anything with Adidas Stealth Rubber,
the one I'm wearing, the Klimacool Tera-X,
I'll leave a link in the description.
You can buy those and help the channel out.
It'll be an affiliate link.
But wow, Colorn, even with 10,000 people here,
there's nobody else here.
This is all just us enjoying this beautiful
white sand beach.
Only a dollar each way for the ferry?
Can't beat that.
That's the right price for paradise, as far as I'm concerned.
The underwater one was easier to get in and out of.
Well, you did say you wanted to explore nooks and crannies.
I'm up in that.
Infamous.
