Bublik Takes On Goffin; Mannarino & Griekspoor Also Play | 's-Hertogenbosch 2023 Highlights Day 2

...was very up for it. Again the variety, the power and then the feel. Oh nice. Approach stayed low. Prefer at this stage. Yeah, it's got him. Time to pick his spot. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, it's good return. And Bublik makes the most of his opportunity. Oh nice. One of the biggest he's struck so far. And he strikes and it's four games in a row. Bublik steals the set from 5-3 down. The circus has come to town. Did well to stay in the point, Bublik. And this is the forehand and that's a poor end to the game for the Belgian. Brilliant from Bublik. One of the best points he's constructed today. Victory for Bublik. Terrific effort to come through that in straight sets. Remember Goffin was serving at 5-4 in the first, he was serving at 4-3 in the second. Oh and the touch as well. That was exquisite from Griekspoor. Oh two goods. Oh and everything he's doing is working at the moment. An early break of serve for Talen Griekspoor. Oh he still made it. He's not doing much wrong at the moment. And he does get another break. That's a good exclamation point. And what was a pretty comfortable set in the end. A little bit of an opportunity. Then you come up with points like that. Oh two good. Perb returning in this game from Michaelima. And he does get the break. He's made it. We're standing more pressure. Terrific serve. Excellent body serve and an exclamation point. That was a very good set of tennis from Michaelima. Oh he's made it again. And two goods. Great way to finish off the match for Talen Griekspoor. 30-15. Oh that's well done. Nice bit of improvisation. He closed that off beautifully. There you go. Have a bit of that. Well that was a bit of a surprise to be honest. It was a a very very tight first set but a one-sided breaker. Here again Moscow. And it was here. Lucky seven. Great athleticism. And one last dose of Manorino magic on the grass here in the Netherlands to get it done in this all-French battle. That's well done. That's a good return and he breaks out of nowhere really. Comfortable hold. Very nice outcome for Alexey Poporin. Holger Ruhner. Tight one as well. Oh that's brilliant. It's probably the best forehand he's struck today. Oh brilliant. What a time to produce a bit of quality like that. And he does just that. Holds his nerve over the closing stages and all in all pretty good performance from the young Australian. Gets his week off to a positive start.
