Jeremy, just moving on to the Metro, this may be more of a concern for City fans because they're
saying leaving party and Sean Kearns here is saying Pep Guardiola is planning to leave treble
winners Manchester City at the end of his current contract in 2025. That'll come around pretty
quickly. What do you make of this story? Well he's, I think he said over the weekend that he
wants to complete the two years that he's got left. I think there's every chance he will still
want to continue after that because he just seems to have everything that he wants at Manchester
City. Obviously the structure there, they brought in people from Barcelona before he arrived there,
so it's difficult to see where else he might want to go. He's obviously won in Spain,
he's won in Germany. I mean, if you're being picky you could say he could try and win the
League in Italy or France, but I don't know, the advantages and what he's got at Manchester City
are so, so big. And it's interesting that he stayed, you know, he won three league titles
at Barcelona and Bayern Munich. This is his fifth, I think, this season in the Premier League,
so he seems more settled in England than anywhere else he's been. So I think perhaps that was him
saying that he's going to do another, he's going to see out the remainder of his current contract,
but I think there's every chance that he would continue. And why would he want to leave? He's,
I mean, amazing. He's still in his early 50s, Guardiola. I think he's won 11 league titles
in 15 years. It's frightening to think what he might end up with because he just seems to be
one of these personalities. You still see them in sports people, as well as coaches and managers
who's not satisfied. They just want to go on and on and keep winning and keep winning. And
although it's quite rare to see him with a cigar in his hand as he was in the celebrations,
his personality seems to be, you know, tomorrow or at least Wednesday, he'll be back
worrying about how he's going to win the league again, because that just seems to be his mindset.
