We spent 2 weeks exploring the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand. We swam with dolphins in Picton, went snorkeling in French Pass and hiked around several beautiful hidden bays with wonderful, clear, blue water. There's several off the beaten path spots around these sounds to explore. Plenty of DOC and Freedom Camping sites available. If you want to swim with the dolphins, do it with E-Ko Tours in Picton.
