Good morning, welcome back to a new vlog. How are we all doing? I'm excited for today. It's actually mine and Ryan's anniversary today, so we have a little date night planned. I'm really looking forward to it. We're basically recreating our first date, which I thought would be really sweet because we haven't actually been, we've been back to the place that we had our first date once, but it was like literally a month ago for a friend's birthday, not as like a date night. So we are going to recreate our first date this evening, which I just think is such a cute idea. But until then, I have got a lot to get on with. We've got a lot to chat through today. I've been, that's, I need to go put makeup on, so let's reconvene and I will hopefully not look like a ghost. Also, these are my anniversary flowers. They are so big. Oh, they're so gorgeous. I might, I'm kind of tempted to go for this like denim midi skirt, which I got a little while back and this is the perfect kind of weather to wear this. I haven't really been able to wear it much. I really wanted to wear it with like a t-shirt, but I only have my Annina Bing one that's not in the wash. I don't know, I don't think I want to wear gray. I wanted to wear either white or black. So, no, that's a no from me. Ooh, actually, I think you might have seen this, but that could actually work. That could be cute. I hate that she sits there, but she's also so cute that I can't bear to move her. But did I want your butt where I put my face? No, no, I do not. She's technically on Ryan's side though, so we'll leave her there. Anyway, I am dressed, getting dressed this morning. A success. I tried on one outfit and I have stayed wearing it. That is something that is actually becoming more of a frequent, frequent occurrence as well, which nothing brings me more joy than that after like the past decade of just looking at my wardrobe every morning and having no idea what to wear. Have I finally cracked getting dressed at the age of 31? Maybe, maybe. Okay, so I've applied my SPF, which is also my primer. I've been using the Beauty Pie Featherlight UVA and UVB SPF 50. Wow, I can't speak this morning. This is, today is gonna be a great day for vlogging. I can just tell already. UVA and UVB SPF 50. It is a sunscreen and primer in one. It is lovely. It gives like a lovely glow to the face and preps my skin really well for makeup whilst also giving me the coverage that I need because of all of the skincare I use. I use it literally every night at the moment. It is one of those products where a little bit goes a very, very long way. Like if you are not a heavy makeup wearer, you can literally use like the smallest amount. This would last you forever. I do use a little bit more because I do wear quite a lot of eye makeup, but this annihilates it. And I still don't have to use anywhere near as much as I used to have to with my old cleansing balm. So that is unreal. It's lasting so well. And for the price of me to convert to this, it's actually going to save money because my old cleansing balm, I was just like going through so quickly and it was costing a small fortune. In the morning, this isn't part of the top five, but just for reference, I don't use this. I only use this at night because it's just one of those products that is just so great for annihilating makeup. Like I said, in the morning, I like to use this one. This is the Beautypie Plantastic Apricot Butter Cleansing Balm. This smells incredible. Oh my God. It's so good. It's just so nice and fruity. I actually thought out of the two of them that this was going to be my favourite when I did my first ever Beautypie order. If you haven't seen that, I will link it. Because the smell of this was just unreal, but I love the texture of this. Like if I had to pick one, I would get this one. However, this one for the smell. And if you don't like a super like, like soft buttery cleansing balm, if you want something that's like got a little bit more of a solid texture, this one is amazing. But if you want something that's like super oily and just going to like blitz the makeup off of your face, this is it. I have to point out, this is not in order of favouritism, this top five, because if it was, this would have been first because this is my all time favourite candle. Like this is limited edition. So I actually really need to stock up. I am going to do that actually before this video goes live because if this disappears, I'll be so sad. This is the Beautypie Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Candle. And it's unreal. It basically smells like a mint aero hot chocolate. It's so good. In my order of new bits, maybe the chocolate candle, but this, I just need backups. I just need backups forever and ever. It's the best candle ever. Beautypie, if you're watching this, because I know you guys are going to be, please make this permanent. Nothing would make me happier. And you can tell how amazing it is because I am basically at the bottom. I'm putting off burning it anymore until I get another one. This has, I think it's 60 hours of burn time, which is like a lot. That is a lot of burn time. So that shows how much I have been burning this. And then we get to the final two in my top five. The first up is the Beautypie Sheer Tinted Oil-Free SPF 20. This is one of my favourite tinted moisturisers that I have tried ever. It gives the most incredible glow. It also glides on when you apply it with fingers. It's just wonderful. I love it. What shade have I got for reference? It is the shade Light. And it blends in to my skin like a dream, gives it like a tiny bit of warmth, but nothing that's too much, nothing that's overly noticeable. So I don't like scratch my makeup off my face and leave like a mark where you can see that my skin is a little bit fairer underneath. Like it just melts into my skin so beautifully and just gives the most insane glow. It's so nice for summertime, but I also just think in the winter this would be wonderful as well when my skin is looking like a little bit dull and lacklustre and just needs a little bit of a pick-me-up. This gives me like my 21-year-old skin. Like it makes my skin look so, so lovely and so healthy and so fresh. Do bear with me, just applied a little bit of liner because my lips have disappeared this morning. And my final favourite from Beauty Pie is the Super Cheek Cream Blush. This is in the shade Bare Blush, beautiful. I like to use the seamless foundation buffing brush to blend it in and a little goes a long way. It's so pigmented. Let me show you. It is, you can really build it. And it lasts so, wow. I'm gonna regret doing that. I'm just literally using the excess from my brush on my cheeks right now. Like it is that pigmented. So it will last a very long time product-wise, but also on your skin, it lasts so beautifully. There is another favourite cream blush of mine that I have started using recently. And this one is such a good dupe for it. And this shade just, I think works so well on my skin tone. It's really beautiful. I also have another shade, which is more of a corally tone, which I cannot wait to wear on holiday this summer. I think I've finally got the knack of like how to wear like corally pink blushes. So super excited to wear that on a holiday. But for everyday, Bare Blush has been my absolute go-to. But I also am slightly more newly acquainted with Astro Pink, I think it is. Yeah, the Super Cheek in Astro Pink. And it is such a pretty pink for the summertime. This is Astro Pink. This is Bare Blush. But as you can see, Astro Pink has a lot more like shimmer and glow to it. It's definitely more on the warm side. Whereas Bare Blush is definitely more of a, I would say like a, it's not cool tone, but it's like a solid neutral. It's definitely more of a creamy finish with literally no shimmer to it. And as you can see, I'm looking very pink now. Both are very pigmented. It's fine, because we're going to add a lot of bronzer today because that is my vibe right now, to a T. Those are my top five, but I need to finish my makeup. So we're going to crack on now. I'm going to apply a little bit of the Awesome Bronze Sunkissed Bronzing Cream. And I'm using the brush that goes with it, which is the, what are you called? The Pro Bronze and Contour Brush. And this is super pigmented, but it is gorgeous. Got the shade Sunny Side. I didn't want to go too dark. And this just looked perfect. And I think it is just bang on what I needed for this time of year for just adding a really nice little bit of contour, but also like bronzy, summery glow. I just know this is going to be such a staple for me over the summer. It's just so easy to like blend into the skin. Just really, oh, look at, we just need to, can we just zoom? We just need to zoom and appreciate how all of those cream makeup products have blended together. It's just so fresh, so natural. These are going to be amazing for me in the summer. I love how they all just melt together. It looks so natural. I can't really tell where the bronzer starts and ends and where the blush starts and ends. It's just all melted together so beautifully. Just going in with the Beauty Pie Rapstar Tubing Mascara, which lots of you will know has been one of my favorite mascaras lately. It just gives the most lovely like wispy lashes. I mean, I don't know if it is right now. I can't see, cause I'm just using the viewfinder as my mirror. It is a gorgeous mascara and it comes off so easily because it's a tubing mascara. And I love that so much about it. I just find that, oh, I feel like I just got a bit on my eyelid. I just find that they are much better for your overall lash health. And since I started using tubing mascaras, my lashes have definitely always been consistently fuller and thicker. So would highly, highly recommend. My necklace is from Edge of Ember. I think it's Victoria's Gaia collection. My rings are from Ashrita Miyu. I've got an Ashrita Miyu little chain on my thumb with a mango bead ring. And then my top is also from Mango. It's like this cool ribbed knit, kind of towel-y material. And my skirt is from Hush. My belt is super old. I think it might be like a really old one from ASOS. I've literally had this for so many years now, but I just love it because it's plain and just goes with any outfit so, so easily. And then I have got my white Zara quilted sliders, which you just can't find anything like that on the high street anymore. The only pair of shoes I can find that are like it are the actual real Bottega ones. And these are so beaten up. So I may have bought the real deal, but in all fairness, these have lasted me so well. I actually have had them since 2018 and I wear them like daily, every summer and I haven't truly ruined them. So I feel like I can be trusted with the real version. So I have upgraded just because I really do love them. And I just think they just go so well with my wardrobe. I got them before Bottega even started making a set like these. I think these were meant to be Zara's nod to like a Chanel shoe. And it just so happened that then Bottega started producing something like exactly the same. So I did get very lucky with these. I have loved them for so long. So I'm very excited for my fresh pair to arrive. I went for the exact same colour, like a bright white, they do do a cream, but I just know I love these and they work so well in my wardrobe. So yeah, it's been a spinny morning, but I am looking forward to them arriving probably next week. Hair today is just leftover waves. So very happy with today's little outfit, with today's makeup situ. It's very light, very fresh, very summery. It feels perfect for like the weather today. So I'm gonna crack on with the day and I will check in with you a little bit later and hopefully take you along on our date night. Oh my God, I have just had a little Asha Damu delivery. Oh my gosh, these are so cute. So I have got some new rings, starting off with this green one. So it's like that wavy style that I have been loving recently, as you will have seen. I have a few, well, a couple of these. Oh, that's so nice. I wanna do like a green nail now so that I can like do some green jewellery styling on my hands and like have it all tie in together. Ooh, love, love that. A little bit big, so maybe that will go. Oh, my index finger, yeah, perfect. Actually, this hand, it will be, yeah. This hand's like ever so slightly bigger, so that's perfect and it'll probably work, yeah, well on the middle finger. I'm obsessed with that blush combo. So, so nice for this time of year. Ooh, we have a new pinky ring. So this is like a little, what do they call them? Like a solitaire? No, signet? I can't remember. This is so sweet. I might actually get this engraved with something. I think that could be cute. Finally, another wavy ring in like a lovely mint green. Oh, they're so cute together. Love that. And I think with my, I have a sparkly one as well. I've got Holland Cooper jeans on, Stuart Wiseman boots, because although it's super gorgeous weather today, I know it's going to be freezing in a little while and it's super windy. So I've gone for like, this is kind of like a almost wintry outfit, but not quite. And then my YSL bag, Astrid and Miyu rings. So I've got the new ones on as well. Please ignore my crazy hair that I've got going on. I'm trying to get a little bit of volume at the top of my head. So today I am not feeling great. I actually have, I'm due born and I have hay fever. So we're just dealing with a lot of things going on right now. And I wouldn't normally vlog on this week of the month. I normally just like take a step back. However, I actually have two days in London this week. Normally it's just a work from home week, but I thought I'd bring you along with me because I'm really looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to seeing the girls. We've got a product launch for Larry King today. He's got some new hair products launching. So I'm very excited to go along and hear about that. And then I'm going to see where the day takes me. There may be shopping. So I'm going to apply this very, very quickly, get my makeup finished, and then we're going to make our way to London. I feel like I have a lot less time this morning than I originally thought I did. So I'm going to get some makeup on my face and then we are going to head off. Honestly, don't know what I'm going to wear. I've just thrown this t-shirt on. I feel like it's a, I feel gross. So I'm going to just wear a t-shirt and jeans kind of day. Normally for a work thing, I would make a bit more of an effort, but I don't know. I'm just really like not feeling the super, super dressed up vibes today. So we'll see. One of the girls has been using it on one singular eyebrow and apparently it's her new favourite eyebrow. So, I'm buzzing to try this. I need a new favourite eyebrow. We are on my favourite street for all of the fancy shops. This is my favourite. I just feel like everyone's customer service on this street is like A-star. I'm such a dork but plants really are just so cool. Good evening, everybody. I am home. I have to say the start of today was a real struggle. You might be able to tell by the fact I barely said two words to you this morning. I was in the worst funk. I've been in a funk for like maybe four days now and it's really been frustrating me because wow, I look like an egg. It's been really frustrating me because the past like three weeks of my life, everyone has been like, you are like the happiest I've ever seen you, the most zen, like things over the past couple of months have just been great and I just feel so content and so grateful for everything I have and yeah, then over the weekend, I just started to feel really, really crappy for no reason and it was really frustrating me because there is no reason for it. I couldn't put my finger on anything and I then felt even more frustrated because I was going to Larry King's event today and Victoria is the like face of the campaign for his new hair roll, which looks so good by the way and I just was so like, I felt sad that I was sad because I was just like, oh my God, I just wanna go along and enjoy today and like feel the good vibes and I have to say my friend's commitments, commitment, not commitments, commitment to upping the vibes is unmatched. I absolutely love them, like I just couldn't do life without them, both Victoria and Amelia were just so, I feel like they just embrace you and like they are just like, whatever it takes to get this bitch to be happy. I really do love them so much, just feeling very appreciative and it's just kind of brought me back to that place of gratitude that I have just been in for like a solid month, love them so much for that. But I'll show you what I picked up, fully like styled up in and out, but it's not like super, well, it's gonna be basic, but not like this basic, tomorrow, moisturiser is going on and now it is time to make some pasta because although my salad at lunch was delicious, it was so good, like a tofu kind of Asian style salad, it was unreal. Although it was so good, it's been a while and I am now very hungry again, so let's go and do what I do best or one of the things I do best, which is make pasta. This Dior logo print. Good morning, everybody. I just sat down to film, wondered why I looked so puffy and realised that I had not contoured my face. If I start vlogging before 10 a.m., that is an essential, it's amazing what a couple of hours of being awake does to your face. So I'm sitting in my bedroom, I originally sat down in my kitchen to chat to you, but it's so sunny today and I've never sat down to vlog in my kitchen so early that I didn't realise that on a sunny day, it just beams on through the window right where I sit. So that was a no go. So we are going to be in the bedroom again, which I didn't want to do because number one, it means I have to actually tidy, but also I hate when we sit in the same spot throughout the vlog, but the sun is doing its thing and I'm just not gonna complain about it because I love that. I'm actually warm today, like warm. This is, it's a very alien feeling. I need to powder again and I literally just did it. I think summer is on its way and bear with me whilst I adjust slightly, but can't complain because winter truly sucks. It is just not my idea of a good time. I really struggle with winter styling. It makes me sad. Like it's just not vibes. I'll even take the hay fever at this point. Also, this is a mess. I tried to look presentable this morning. It's just, I am getting my hair done literally in like an hour and it is so very needed. It is officially hair wash day and I'm trying to make it look like it's not hair wash day, but it is hair wash day. Okay, I think we're there. Wonderful. Okay, we're going to unbox my new shoes together. I've been wearing a lot more flats recently and I just wanted something super timeless that I could wear with my Holland Cooper jeans, which I literally just wear all the time. I've cut them to length now and it is like, they were raw hem anyway. So I was like, why not just cut them? Why keep like folding the hems and stuff up? And honestly, it's made the biggest difference. Like I actually look like a normal height human being and I've been wearing a lot of flats with them and I just wanted like a really lovely, really simple, really elegant pair of flats. I've been thinking over these for a while. I actually wasn't convinced that I'd be able to even get my hands on these because I feel like everyone is loving the Chanel flats at the moment, but it's just the most special thing. I feel like I should film a TikTok on the unboxing of this, but you guys are just going to get it first because I actually just, I don't care enough to do the TikToks right now. I'm going to put these on with this outfit today. I feel like these should just be able to go with any outfit in my wardrobe that I have right now. Oh my God, I'm real, I'm real. Got the little CC on the heel, that's so cute. The leather is so soft. I'm really hoping like I have no issues with these shoes. Did get these in a size four. So I am a really awkward shoe size. I'm a four and a half. One of the, I would say one of my feet is just under a four and a half, closer to a four. And one of them is just over, so closer to a five. So I normally get a five. However, with these, I got the four because I just had so much room on the back of the heel. When I put the five on, so much room. Put the four and a half on and it was better. Put the four on and it just looked like the perfect fit. And these slingbacks are like elasticated and it's quite a good stretchy elastic. So I think this is gonna be perfect. So we'll see, cross your fingers for me, but they are just the most gorgeous shoe. Like so simple, super timeless. And I do actually think these are very, very versatile. They're almost like barely there shoes. I think I will get a lot of wear out of these. And I love this colorway as well because the nude is very like elongating. And as you'll know, I'm very vertically challenged and anything I can do to elongate the leg is very important to me. The heel diversions of these with like a big heel actually made my feet look so short. It was not a good look. And in my feet looking shorter, it made me look shorter. Like that's why a pointed toe is generally quite good for me. It kind of just like gives the illusion of more length to the leg. And unfortunately I have very short legs and then quite small-ish feet. It's not great for me. I originally thought that I would love the pair with the heels. Like I love the look of them when they're just like on display. My eye is always drawn to them, but actually on, I was like, this is a no. But other than that, I don't feel like there's too much more to say. I wanna keep this quite short and concise. She says, the timestamp says 15 minutes. So yeah, let's go and try these on with today's outfit and I can show you today's outfit because it's cute. I think I'm gonna be able, I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to wear this outfit out to the hairdressers, but it's actually so warm. I think this is like an all day outfit. I thought I might need to change into trousers, but actually this is like the first shorts weathered day this year. What a time to be alive. But yeah, this is how the shoes look. Just super cute, discreet, very, very chic. Perfect for me in my retirement era of just not faffing with fashion anymore and just wearing what feels really easy and good for my body and just very, very simple. That is the vibe now. And these are just one of the best pairs of shoes that I could add to my spring summer wardrobe for that. Let me tell you when I have to do like an 8 a.m. nail appointment, I am no longer interested in wearing something super trendy or taking like 45 minutes just to pick an outfit and style it all up. I just wanna wear really simple things now. And yeah, these are going to be an absolute staple. She is cute. She is sliving. She is in her retirement era. As for the rest of my outfit, I am wearing a black waistcoat, which I believe is from PLT last summer. And I just love it. I love the fact that it's like an open back. It just, I think this kind of halter neck style and the open back looks really nice. I don't know why, I just, I think a more slim shoulder looks a lot better on me when I wear waistcoats that come out to my shoulder. It just doesn't always look its best. This is a very like feminine cut. And I think that kind of suits my body shape quite nicely. And then I've got a pair of silk shorts from Lily Silk, which I also got, was it last summer? Last autumn. And I just knew they'd be a really gorgeous summer staple. Okay, I've changed my shoes and grabbed a cardigan just in case it gets cold on my walk back. It's quite a long walk, but let's go get my hair done. Just walking along my favorite street near my hairdresser. It's so cute. There's a little church coming up. There's honestly some of the most gorgeous houses. I'm currently trying to persuade my mum and dad that they want to live here. Like this house, it has a full thatched roof. It's crazy. And this one too, wild. So I've made it and we're just going for a little root touch up to eliminate the greys. And then not much else is going on. We're just going to have a little trim and leave it the way it is because it's lightened up really nicely, but still looks like very much brunette. It's a really nice like brunette-y blonde on the end. We also have coffees on the way. I'm so excited. Hair is done. Got a lovely summer blonde going on. Good morning, everybody. It has been a while since we have last seen each other. It is the weekend and I am a little bit hungover. I may have had too much tequila last night, but yeah, I thought I would show you my outfit of the day. It is a gorgeous day today. We're actually about to head out, run some errands. By the way, please ignore my kitchen. It's a mess. It's upsetting me right now, but I don't have the energy to deal with it. We are just about to go and see my friend Kate. Just pop in and see her for a coffee. She recently moved to Brighton from Glasgow, which was just like the best thing that has happened to me so far this year. I'm over the moon, but I very rarely actually vlog when I'm with her. So I don't know if there'll be anything to show you. Whenever my friends have babies, I just, the vlogging camera never comes out around them. But anyway, we are going to see her this morning and run some errands. So I thought I would bring you along with us where possible. And I would also show you my outfit, which is kind of cute today. I really like it. It's just the most gorgeous day. So I've gone for something nice and summery. We have my Givenchy sunglasses and then my mango spiral hoop earrings, which I'm just in love with at the moment. We have my edge of ember necklace, a reformation top, which I've just tucked slightly at the side into the skirt, which is like a long maxi skirt. It's kind of low rise, but I think the two pair quite nicely together. This is it untucked, which is also nice, but I just kind of prefer it. It just gives it like a little bit of a relaxed feel. I don't know. I like it. And then my Zara sliders and my YSL bag. There's probably a better bag that goes with this, but I do not have the mental capacity to be thinking about my outfit any more than I already have. So that is what we are working with today. And as for my makeup, I've just gone super light and fresh with it because I just really needed the extra glow today. There is so much of the Victoria Beckham highlighter on my cheeks to just like add some extra juice. That highlighter, whilst being very, very, very spinny is really, truly wonderful. It just makes your face look so juicy. I have it on my forehead as well with a little bit of bronzer, blush, mascara, brows, a little bit of lip colour. No base, just SPF on underneath that. So yeah, just a lot of cheek products going on on the skin, keeping it very light and fresh. Perfect for a very summery day. So we are home. I had a lovely afternoon. We saw Kate, went and did a food shop, went to one of our favourite cafes on the beach, got a little coffee, a little sausage roll. And I've just been pottering about in the garden. And as you will have noticed, I have changed my jumper. I've got changed into this jumper because I'm about to get snuggled up and do a fair bit of editing. I have so much to get done this weekend before everyone goes back to work on Tuesday. I need to crack on, but I thought I would quickly show you a couple of bits that I picked up earlier and then also a couple of bits from my Beauty Pie order that I've been really liking. So when I was in Tesco's, I picked up two books. Lots of you will know if you've ever listened to my book recommendations before. I love a J.P. Delaney book. Love, love, love. So it's the same author as The Girl Before and Playing Nice, which I loved both of those books so much. I feel like there's another one as well that I really thought that there were three that were published. Let's see. Does it have the list? Oh yeah, believe me. Oh, and the, oh my God, yeah. So I have read all of these. They are all sensational. If you need book recommendations, this author, these four books, so good. I'm hoping that this one is just as good. And then I think I've also read an Adele Parks book before and enjoyed it. I've always like try and keep my favorite authors like names in my head so that when I'm in a book aisle, I can just go for the authors that I know I like. This one seems to be judging by the blurb on the back, basically like you've raised a child that kind of isn't yours, which I always find the concept a little bit mad. This author has also written a book. Playing Nice is like a very similar concept. So I'm interested to see how this one differs. And as for my Beauty Pie order, I've been using this cuticle oil and it's really lovely. This is the Cuticle Therapy. I actually don't know if it's an oil. I just naturally call them a cuticle oil, but yeah, this one is really lightly scented, like a nice, I wanna say like florally fragrance, but very nice and hydrating on the cuticles. We also have this lipstick. I will pop the shade of this in the info box in case you want to know the shade name because it's not on the bottom because you basically get your lipstick shade and then you get the case and you pop it in. So my case doesn't have the name of the lipstick on it, but I will pop it in the info box. It's a really lovely, light, nudey colour. I'm wearing that today. I'm really enjoying that. And then I have a new candle. I briefly mentioned earlier in the vlog, I love my mint hot chocolate one. However, this is the candle that was in my Beauty Pie order that arrived this week and it smells incredible. I haven't burnt it yet, but the smell is strong enough. I already know that I love it. This one is, as the name suggests, like pure chocolate, whereas the mint hot chocolate one, I definitely would say is a little more fresh. So it depends on what kind of mood you're in, whether you just want a very, very sweet smelling candle. This one is very, very deep and rich. Still gorgeous, but they're both very different. So I don't know if I could rank them, but I am going to enjoy burning this so, so much. Good morning, everybody. Good group, I love you today. I slept for a million years last night. I just got back from the South of France, which I'm currently editing. You will see very, very soon. And I realized that this video, I haven't done my skincare this morning. I haven't even washed my face. Like, honestly, why am I doing this? I realized I hadn't ended today's vlog. I am so sorry that it did not go live as we intended. There was a slight roadblock with the footage and there was a massive delay. And I feel like I literally have just said in like the last vlog, videos twice a week, Monday and when, when did I say? I don't even know when I said, like Sunday and Wednesday. And obviously it hasn't happened and this vlog has been very delayed. I am so sorry for that, but we are back. We are back in business. I'm actually just going to do one a week for this month. I'm back to fully backtracking, I know, just because things actually ended up being far busier than I anticipated. So I will see you again next Wednesday. If you prefer Sunday, let me know. I really don't mind whatever is best for you guys, but yeah, I just wanted to come on and say goodbye and let you know that there are vlogs coming.
