For the Rockies, first time they match up with the Giants all year.
This is the latest first appearance between the Rockies and Giants since 1998.
Denelson LeMet, 1-2 with a 13.17 and 13.23 innings pitch so far.
Hasn't really gotten it going. This is his first start.
And LeMet's first pitch of the night. Wade pulls that one into right field.
That's going to be a hit and it should be extra bases.
Wade on his way to second. First pitch swinging.
It's a leadoff double. Tyro Estrada having a wonderful season.
Swung on and missed at 97. So Estrada goes down.
Now Jock Peterson. Pitch and it's up high. Ball four.
J.D. Davis pitches a little tapper back to LeMet.
Bobbles recovers, throws to first low, but Jones grabs it for the second out.
Two down, two men in scoring position for the left-handed hitting outfielder,
Michael Conforto. 3-2 pitch.
His strike three called at the top of the zone with a slider.
Conforto can't believe it. The Giants don't score.
A bullpen game, although we'll see how the Giants want to manage this one.
But John Brebby is the guy who gets the start.
Jurgensen Profar, switch hitter batting left.
This ball is live in the gap in left-center field.
It'll be cut off there by Haddock.
And Profar starts out the homestand with a one-out single.
It'll bring up Ryan McMahon.
And this is a towering fly ball to deep right.
And it's off the middle of the wall.
30th second, he's going to go to third, get a stop sign on the double by McMahon.
That went about 370 feet to right-center field.
Second and third one out.
Ball four, and they're loaded up for Randall Gritchick.
Gritchick lines it to third.
And Davis made the catch.
They'll get just the one out.
What a play by J.D. Davis.
Big cat, big puma over here.
Pounces on it.
Brebby has set the 1-0.
A swing and a high fly ball right-center field.
Playable for Yastrzemski.
Back to his left, he's under it.
He makes the catch.
And the inning is over.
Two outs, Patrick Bailey hitting left-handed, the catcher.
And Bailey rips that one fair.
Down the first baseline, it's going to kick off that sidewall.
Bailey, who doesn't run real well, but easily into second with a two-out double.
Now Brandon Crawford of a giant who, over the course of his career,
has put up some really big numbers in this ballpark.
Crawford drives that one to right field.
It's going to be over the head of Gritchick up against the wall.
Bailey is in to score.
The throw is not in time.
Crawford hangs on to the corner of the bag.
1-0 Giants.
76th career RBI at Coors Field.
And a little swim move.
Keep the hand on the bag.
Giants are on the ball.
Here's the 3-1.
That one is off the plate.
Wade works the walk.
It's Tyro Estrada now with two on, two out.
Estrada, line drive, base hit, right-center field.
Crawford will come around and score.
Wade goes to third.
Welcome back, Tyro Estrada.
2-0 Giants.
Two out RBIs is how you win a lot of ball games.
Stacking up good at-bats.
When runners in scoring position low line drive over the other way,
it's a beautiful thing.
Patrick Bailey will come in with two outs
and that runner in scoring position.
He doubled down the right field line his first time up.
He drives that one to center field.
Doyle back at the wall.
It is off the wall.
And it caroms back toward the infield.
Patrick Bailey might have himself a triple.
He will.
Hanager has scored a big league triple for Patrick Bailey.
Welcome to Coors Field, kid.
Double and a triple in his first two at-bats ever in this ballpark.
Cycle watch.
Making it 3-0 Giants.
We go to the bottom of the third.
And the new pitcher for the Giants, Sean Minaya, takes over.
Yeah, Minaya's last two starts have been really good.
He's been hot lately.
Kind of moved on the mound.
Got some confidence going.
He's been throwing hard all season.
Got it.
Minaya uses the high fastball to strike out Profar for out number two.
Got him.
Well, that's an excellent inning for Sean.
Coming out of the bullpen here tonight, he retires the top of the order.
In order.
3-0 Giants.
One out.
Here's Randall Gritchick.
This is in the air.
Deep right center field.
Chasing is Conforto.
It's off the wall.
Kicks a long way away.
Conforto moving towards the 375 sign in right center.
And he fell down trying to change directions.
The Rockies take advantage of that.
Gritchick, who's got above average speed, able to easily get to third base.
Nolan Jones.
This is put in play.
And they're going to come home with it.
Tagged up.
Good slide by Randall Gritchick.
The Rockies are on the board.
It's 3-1.
It's safe.
And first is Nolan Jones.
How about the job of him getting the ball in play?
Really good slide.
Tough to tell.
It looks like that right foot's down, and they're not going to check it.
3-2.
That one is to left center.
Jastrzemski makes a catch on the run for out number three.
That is six walks issued by Rockies pitching.
We'll bring up Patrick Bailey.
Not only that RBI triple, but also a double two for two.
Now he hammers that one to right field.
Gritchick watches.
It is high off the wall.
That missed being a home run by maybe a foot.
Now the throw.
And he gets around the tag and hangs on to second base.
Patrick Bailey's got another double,
and I don't know how that one didn't get out.
You have to capitalize if you're the Giants.
Runners at second and third.
Wade smashes one up the middle.
That's a base hit.
Jastrzemski will score.
Bailey around third.
He'll score.
That's a big one for the Giants, 5-1.
A single for Peterson, and they're on at the corners now for Davis.
Davis swings and belts it out to deep center field.
A good ride.
Doyle back.
Look it up.
It's off the wall.
Scoring Wade.
Here comes Peterson.
He'll score without a throw.
And it's 7-1 Giants.
Giants are hitting some balls very hard here tonight,
especially in this fifth inning.
Davis the runner at second.
Here's the pitch.
Conforto swings, lines it into center field.
Another hit.
Coming around third, Davis.
Michael Conforto delivers.
Five runs home in the inning, and it's 8-1 Giants.
Rockies get a one-out base runner, their fourth hit of the night.
Profar has one of those four hits.
And this calls lead on to deep left center field.
Hattiger chasing.
And off the plate.
It's 8-2 San Francisco.
So, Wade on third, Estrada on second.
One out.
Now it's J.D. Davis' turn to get his rips.
J.D., a liner to left.
It's hanging, and Profar will catch it.
Wade tags and scores, 9-2.
Inning not over quite yet for the Rockies.
Charlie Blackman will jog down to first,
and Jerickson Profar will get up to the plate.
And this ball is well hit right center field.
Ustrepski chasing.
Can't make the cut.
And then both guys collide.
Ackman scored.
Profar to third with a triple.
Slater went into center.
Collides with Ustrepski in extreme right center field.
Profar with two outs.
He's had a big night.
Single, double, triple.
Here's Ryan McMahon.
Mac had a double in his first at-bat.
And this ball is launched to deep left center field this time,
and it's off the base of the wall,
and it's an RBI double for McMahon.
It's 9-4.
And his great run continues.
He'll tie Ezekiel Tovar for 17 with the team-leading doubles.
Tovar walked the first three batters here on the night.
Eniger one for five.
There go the runners.
Three-two.
Look out.
Up and in.
He nearly hit him.
The fourth walk of the inning.
This one will knock in a run.
And it's 10-4, Giants.
McMahon's got a couple of doubles tonight, two for four.
One on, one out.
The two-two pitch.
Swing, sharp ground ball right to Crawford.
He's got it.
Flips to Estrada for one.
Over to first for two.
A double play, and the game is over.
And the Giants,
with one of their top offensive displays of the season,
Giants 10 and Colorado 4.
