Brandon Drury is there to make the play after a very quick seven pitch one two three top of the first Hayden Wisniewski relies heavily on the fastball 50 percent of the time compliments with the slider which has a sweeping action side to side more lateral. That's his output. Next offering in there got him looking Wisniewski comes all the way back. He fell behind three and oh it ends up freezing Ward drive one hops Swanson on the grass fields and throws him out and that one is upstairs it's ball four and Trout take his base so a two out walk the Angels happy to have this guy back Anthony Rendon celebrating his thirty third birthday Rendon coming off the injured list he's been out with a groin strain for about three weeks that's drilled right field Suzuki back and makes the catch and Rendon hits it hard but Suzuki hauls it in and he swings and grabs one hard off the glove of Rendon on the first and safe safe at first so a rare time he swings at the first pitch and he comes up with a bullet and an infield single has ballooned that one's well struck out towards right center field that one is back and it's off the wall racing for third as Suzuki goes into second he continues to clobber left handed pitching and the Cubs in business second and third nobody out really on top when to do the job and at least drive in a run here drive up the middle base hit and that's going to score to Suzuki is in Gomes on his heels Mike Tuchman delivers a two run single and the Cubs take the lead.
