Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema said farewell to Real Madrid in a small, private ceremony closed to fans and media following a trophy-laden 14-year stay with the LaLiga club.
It's a somewhat sad day because I'm leaving this club and it
hurts me because as I've said before I had a dream in my mind
The company in Madrid wanted to finish in Madrid
I am lucky to be able to realize my childhood dream thanks to Preci
It has been a long time as I have said before I
was only 21 years old I went to my parents' house
And when I saw you I said that he was the man who brought Zizou to
Ronaldo and now he wants me in his
team So thank you very much for that
I will never forget Real Madrid because it's impossible
because it's the best club in the world in history
There's nothing more but I think today is the time to go and see another story
