Once upon a time, in a world of myths and legends, there exist ethereal beings who watch over the natural order of the mortal realm. A young girl called Chun, one of these beings, has reached the age where she must experience the human world to complete her coming-of-age ceremony. During her exploration, a storm ensues and Chun finds herself entangled in a fisherman's net. Despite the rescue efforts of a young human boy, he tragically drowns. Filled with grief and remorse, Chun returns to her realm.
Seeking solace, she meets the Soul Keeper and offers a part of her lifespan in exchange for the boy's revival. However, her actions have dire consequences as they interfere with the natural order of the world. Da Yu Hai Tang is a moving tale of sacrifice and redemption as Chun grapples with the limitations of her powers and navigates complex emotions of love and death. As she strives to choose between saving the boy and upholding her moral obligations to the order of the world, Chun must face the ultimate decision and its consequences.
