In Norse mythology, the god associated with water, rivers, and seas is Njord (also spelled Njörðr or Njörð). Njord is considered one of the Vanir, a group of deities associated with fertility, nature, and the sea. He is often depicted as a wise and prosperous god who brings calm and wealth to sailors and fishermen. Njord is the father of Freyr and Freyja, two prominent deities in Norse mythology. While Njord primarily governs the sea and seafaring, it's worth noting that the Norse pantheon also includes other deities associated with water, such as Aegir, Ran, and the Nine Daughters of Ægir.
