Good morning everybody, how are you guys doing today?
It is just past 6am here in Java and I realized we forgot to pack last night
and our pickup comes in like 20 minutes so we best get on to that.
And if you guys can hear that, those are the monkeys waking us up, not our alarm clock.
See you everyone, thank you.
Morning guys, we have just arrived at the airport.
Today we are going to Kuala Lumpur.
Now our flight, there was a really long wait before we could go to China
so we decided we're going to stay the night in Kuala Lumpur
and then head to China tomorrow which means we get one downtime in a hotel
before we are off volunteering again.
I'm very excited for a little night in a cheeky night in a hotel
and I'm very excited because we can finally start watching Game of Thrones again.
The last week we haven't been spending our nights together
and we've been watching Game of Thrones and we've had to cancel it for a week
and I'm up to season four and it's getting very intense.
Anyway, we're gonna go through customs now.
Got that self-check-in.
They don't get their chicken from Kentucky down here.
That's that civet we were looking after.
That's what it's actually called, kopi luwak coffee
and look, compared to other coffees, it's almost triple the price.
If you missed the vlog, we were working with the civet cat
and what they do is they eat the coffee beans, poop them out
and then they serve $10 a cup and that's at a local place.
If you were to get in like LA, I'm pretty sure they can be up to $100 for the cup of coffee.
Really? $100?
Yeah, $100.
By the way, they have avocado coffee.
How weird is that?
Avocado coffee.
I would try but it's $6 for one cup.
That's expensive.
This is what $3 worth of fries gets you.
Alrighty guys, we are leaving Indonesia.
It's been an awesome trip.
Next stop is Malaysia.
First, we can't stay in the same room together.
Now, we can't sit next to each other.
It's only a two and a half hour flight.
It should be really quick for us to get to KL.
Alrighty guys, we have made it to Malaysia.
The flight was super, super quick.
We just grabbed one of these super handy trolley things
and being lazy and using this.
But I feel like if you walk on this, it makes you go fast from the airport.
Oh, yeah.
Anyway, we are super hungry.
We've got to find food before anything
because all we've eaten is those tiny bits of chips and that's it.
Yay, hotel.
We have arrived at our hotel.
We are staying at the Tune Hotel which is connected to the airport
because we literally fly out early tomorrow to China.
I'm not sure if we explained before
but we decided to spend this one night here in Malaysia
halfway between Java and China just so we can have a night's rest
because we have been volunteering for nine days straight now
and sometimes you need a day off.
So, this is our little day off.
We arrived really late.
It's like four o'clock, isn't it?
Yeah, four o'clock.
They do have like a 33-minute express train into Kuala Lumpur
but I'm not too sure if I'm like up for it.
So, she goes, I've been really sick yesterday.
I went to bed at 3 p.m and I woke up at 6 this morning.
So, I like literally slept for like, I don't know how many hours is that?
A lot of hours and I'm feeling so much better now.
I really needed that sleep but yeah, I'm recovering.
So, I think we're going to spend the night in the hotel
but we haven't eaten and it's four o'clock.
The last thing we had were those little chips.
We are starving.
So, I think we're going to quickly put a vlog on upload
and then we're going to go head back into the airport.
There were so many places to eat.
I was so happy because we weren't too sure what this airport was going to be like.
It looks really nice.
It's like places we can look into the shops.
It's like I feel like we're going to the mall
like we're going to a shopping center.
So, I think I'm going to put a video on upload
and then go and find something to eat.
I'm starving.
I'll quickly show you the room.
It's really cheap.
So, it's like $70 a night connected to the airport.
So, that makes it really handy.
I feel like if you have like a layover,
if you have a really long layover,
you could spend the night here
but I'm also really excited
because we haven't had hot water in a while.
So, we're very ready for a hot shower.
Anyway, so this is the Tune Hotel.
We've got a bed here and we've got a TV.
We get free Wi-Fi.
Stephen's getting the vlog ready
and then if you go through here
which I haven't even looked at yet.
Pool.
Is a toilet and then a shower.
So, everything you need
and I'm so ready for a night of Game of Thrones.
Are you excited?
Oh, it's been so long and we've been separate.
I know, for so long.
There's a mirror here.
Hi.
Alrighty, I am ready to eat, Steve.
There is a lot of choice, guys.
I think we saw like Starbucks and some other stuff.
Oh man, I feel like a big shake.
Had such a craving for a sandwich.
So, we've come to Subway.
When you eat Asian food for a week,
you want some Western food.
Good old sandwich.
Yes.
I'm treating myself to an ice cream
but for some reason if you pay on card,
you get a free ice cream.
So, that's a real good dessert.
I just had my first hot shower in a week
and I'm feeling so tired and refreshed.
That was amazing.
Stephen's in there now.
Stephen, are you loving the hot water?
Oh my gosh, I am so pooped.
I realized I never showed you guys these jammie pants
Stephen got me for my birthday.
I think they're so cute.
They got little tees and little waffles on them.
I love them.
Alrighty, guys.
Hours have passed.
The vlogs are all uploading.
We are not too sure the YouTube situation here,
there is in China.
So, we've tried to get all the videos
and Facebook posts and stuff ready before we go there.
I am so excited to go to China
and we are going to be in a volunteer place
and we're going to be seeing the area as well.
I want you guys to comment down below
what you think we're going to be volunteering with
because I realized we haven't told you guys.
So, write in the comments below what you think
and I guess you guys will find out tomorrow.
We have to leave really, really super early.
Is that fun?
So, I guess we're going to be going to bed.
So, good night, guys.
And we'll see you in China.
Good night, guys.
Bye.
