Garden Party and Mini Pineapple Cakes

They just look, like, dry. We've had the most beautiful summer. We have. Like, it hasn't been too hot. All right, Maxine, I did not forget about you. Oh, my God. There we go. Smells so good. All right, ladies. Wow. Dig in. Now, wait, does anybody want any wine? Yes, please. Catherine does. Maxine gets a full cup. Oh, God. Just kidding, Maxine. Look at how beautiful that is. All right, so we've got some red snapper with fava bean puree and these stuffed zucchini blossoms. Oh, yum. Stuffed. I found them at the farmer's market, so I thought, why not, right? It's stuffed with cream cheese, goat cheese, and basil. I put the marinara on the side because I figured you didn't have to dip it if you didn't want to. It's like a healthy French fry. I like that. That's great. Fava beans are in season. It's beautiful. It's got a really delicate flavor to it. With some mint because I thought... Oh, we'll make it, you know, more springy. I grow the mint and I grow the flower. I mean, I grow the mint and I grow the basil. And then I'll grow this tomato for you. And you bring it over and we'll make something. Oh, that's nice. Look at that. See, if you just let them sit for an hour, then the pineapple can kind of settle into the cake and the cake absorbs it. It's so good. All right. I'm just going to plate them. Well, yeah, you know me. I don't like to share cake. So I figured if everybody had their own dessert, it would be better. Yeah. Right? And I thought it was nice and dainty and feminine. Oh, it's so soft. Yes. It's moist. Super moist. But you know what the funniest thing is? It's that the cake is actually box cake. No. Yep. Oh, my gosh. I'm so happy. Why are you so happy?
