Piazza Virgiliana Mantova "Scopri Mantova insieme a noi" (Discover Mantua with us)

"Let's discover Mantua together" returns with a video on the splendid Piazza Virgiliana, a symbol of prosperity and biodiversity in the city center since its creation way back in 1797.
Built according to the model of the most famous French gardens, the square intends to celebrate the legendary poet Virgil, master of literary style and acclaimed guide of Dante on his journey into the folds of hell, of whom an imposing statue was built in 1919.
Today the square also houses the buildings of the Diocesan Museum of Mantua and the Ospedale Grande di San Leonardo, as well as social celebrations such as the traditional Christmas Market.
