Probably too far now to expect them to achieve Champions League, even with Juventus' points
deduction. Remember they will obtain a Champions League place for next season if they beat Sevilla
on Wednesday. Belotti taking on Venuti. Belotti lovely ball towards Solbakken and El Shaarawy on
cue. An easy finish for the Italian. Roma edge in front at the Franchi and their three attackers
combining superbly. No one picking up Roma's number 92 Paul from a Fiorentina point of view
and their disastrous week just got that little bit worse. Seven goals for the season now for
Stefan El Shaarawy. The entire stadium thought that they'd won it against fellow Champions
League chasers Milan only for Alexis Salamakas to equalize in the 97th minute to break Roma hearts.
Referee tried to play advantage. No advantage and it is a yellow card for Ricardo Sapanato,
the first yellow card of the game. Smart play from Tahirovic. Smalling forward to El Shaarawy.
Belotti was offside. I'm not sure he knew too much about it. This is Wijnaldum. Gini Wijnaldum
and off the line from Lucas Martinez Cuarta. Great defending from the Argentine. So close Roma
to doubling their lead for the Giallorossi and he'll be looking to add to that on Wednesday.
This was the Solbach in chance. Chiarafolini did well not to foul Wijnaldum. Ball into the
mixer. It's Luka Jovic. Gets his header on target. It was a fairly easy save though. Finally a bit of
space for the attacking midfielder Saponara into Jovic who comes deep to pick it up. Almost playing
as a false nine. Great play from Barak. Still going Barak and that is a free kick to Fiorentina
right on the edge of the box. Yellow card. Cristiano Biraghi goes for goal. It's well
stopped there by Zvilar in the Roma goal. Much better from a Fiorentina point of view.
Need to be a foul on Belotti. Advantage played by referee Airoldi. When you see the first time
in the match Fiorentina have managed to get the ball out to Saponara on the left hand side. The
first time he's had enough time to cross and make an impact. It was a lovely one two towards the
back post. Ikone getting away from Zalewski for the second time in the match. Perhaps a worry.
Wijnaldum looks on side here. Gini Wijnaldum threw on goal. Taking on Martinez Cuarta.
It's a deflection off the Argentine and out for a corner. They've got within their 11 have come
from one man. They are so reliant on him in these types of games when the likes of Tammy Abraham and
Lorenzo Pellegrini, Paolo Dybala are all out. Zalewski. He's had a foul there by Martinez Cuarta.
It was an interesting choice for Roma to go with the left of Sol back in there. Sometimes more on
that later. Here's Stefan El Sherawi. A mistake at the back for Fiorentina. El Sherawi forces a
superb save from Cerafolini. He's been called upon right at the end of the first half and he's made
an unbelievable save. That one was nestling into the top corner. You won't see many saves better
than that all season long in Serie A. It is so frustrating coming up against a team who are so
well drilled such as Roma. El Sherawi picking up the pieces once again. Belotti looking for the
give and go with Sol back and Belotti. Belotti. Cerafolini once again to the rescue for the
once his first goal in Roma colours. Hasn't scored in the league for the Giallorossi yet
but you sense it's coming. Well apart from the goal Roma have barely had a sniff for the first 43
minutes but they've had two big big chances. It's a low one towards the front post Bovi making decent
contact. His efforts into the side netting. We're into the second minute of time added on at the end
of the first half. Four minutes decided by referee Airoldi to be added on perhaps for the
injuries to Igor and Belotti halfway through the first half. Jovic well worked. This is Biragi
game really being ignited. Roma on this near side. Zalewski getting away from his man. Zalewski
an interesting call there from the referee. No advantage was played. The quickly taken
into Luka Jovic. Still Jovic. Smart play from Ikone. A chance for Roma to really hit Fiorentina
with the sucker punch but it was a disappointing ball from Wijnaldum. Almost had too many options
there. Desperate lunge by Sol Bakken. I'd be very surprised if this isn't a yellow card.
It is indeed. It's a cheap yellow card there for Luka Jovic. Now then Fiorentina with the chance to
pull themselves level. Mandragora. This time it's a more of a lofted delivery. Milenkovic goes down.
The referee tells him to get to his feet. Vincenzo Italiano incensed on the near touchline. Tercic
headed towards goal. Well met there by Zvilar. Follows this one into host Atalanta at San Siro.
Milenkovic. Dodo onto Jovic. Luka Jovic. Wide off the target. Space opened up there for Luka Jovic.
His first sighter. More of a daisy cutter than a shot that was actually going to trouble Zvilar
in the Roma goal. Tercic. Well repelled once again this time by Banez. Pelotti.
Once he caught there by Igor. Another yellow card. The eighth of the game issued by the referee.
He's given a free kick to Roma it seems. Jose Mourinho has been issued the yellow card
in amongst all this. On the edge of the box. Tercic. Back to Mandragora. How can Fiorentina
get Christian Kouyame and Luka Jovic involved in the final six minutes here. That's so much of the
It's that final pass through to the strikers that's been lacking. Dodo. Onto Barak. Dodo takes
over again. This is Ikone. Milenkovic screaming for it on the edge of the box. Instead they go
central towards Mandragora. And put in by Jovic. After a torrid week finally Fiorentina fans have
something to celebrate for Italia final. He gets on the score sheet here at the Franchi.
And it's all square. Fiorentina one. Roma one. Roma a complaint. They were the better side in
that Coppa Italia final against Inter for large parts of the second half. But they just couldn't
finish their chances. Milan who's equalized just now was guilty. More guilty than any other player
in fact. He might have rescued his side a point here. It's still time for more. Kouyame. Heavy
touch from the Ivorian. He gets it back. Wants a free kick. Antonin Barak. Over to Tercic.
Tercic taking on his man. Getting the better of him. Lofted towards Kouyame. And this is Ikone.
Two goals in three minutes for Fiorentina. The comeback is complete. And they're gonna sign off
here at the Franchi with a win. And the sheer number of purple shirts was too much for Roma
to handle. Kouyame on to Ikone. And he literally couldn't miss. Roma's wretched form continues.
No win in seven games. Fiorentina wave off their home fans for the last time this season
as they bounce back from that disappointing Coppa Italia final loss.
With a win over Mourinho's Giallorossi.
