The Screamin' Banshee only made a very short appearance in Mater and the Ghost light in Cars 1 . At the end of the movie there was a short story where Mater was up to his usual hijinks and Sheriff decided to get even with him . He told him about the Ghost Light , and attached a lamp to his hook, and Mater raced all over town. Then when he discovered he was tricked, they told him there is nothing to fear except feat itself, and the Screamin' Banshee. Mater was scared going home and came right up to it, but did not know he was there.
