Simple One has been launched at Rs. 1.45 lakh for the base variant and the top paint scheme variant will set you back by Rs. 1.50 lakh. The electric scooter houses a 5 kWh battery that powers an 8.5 kW motor that belts out 72 Nm of torque. The company claims an IDC range of 212 km, a top speed of 105 kmph and a 0-40 kmph dash in 2.77 seconds. The electric scooter comes shod with 12-inch wheels wearing tubeless tyres and tips the scales at 134 kg. Braking duties are done by a 200 mm disc up front and 190 mm at the rear, suspension is done by a telescopic unit at front and a monoshock at the rear. The boot has a 30-litre space. The electric scooter also gets a 7-inch TFT touchscreen dash with connected tech, the screen is not that responsive though. The electric scooter comes with features like geo fencing, remote access, navigation and ride modes to name a few. The company claims to be sitting on an order pipeline of over one lakh bookings and deliveries will begin from 6 June in Bangalore and eventually will start in the rest of the cities. The company gives out a warranty of 3 year or 30,000 km, whichever comes first on the motor, vehicle and battery. The company claims 95 per cent localisation of the scooter except for the battery cells and few other components. It will lock horns with the likes of the Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X and TVS iQube to name a few.
