Oh, no ways!
Serena bringing it in large quantities.
And the Wimbledon champion of 2015, Serena Williams.
That was a brutal bludgeon.
And then another ace.
Another big winner from Serena.
Putting shot.
Lightning bolt.
Come on.
Match point.
With some force.
Sam title.
And she's won the first one.
I think for me, playing in the first round has always been super nervous for me.
Yeah, it's kind of a relief not to have to be on centre for your first match.
But I would have been okay, I guess.
15-0.
Brilliant.
On the line.
40.
15-0.
30-0.
Miss Williams.
23.
Game.
End for set.
Miss Williams.
15-0.
A fault.
The serve was called out.
That was a challenging call on the right service line.
The ball was called out.
Strange.
It's a good call.
15-13.
Deuce.
And she did.
Miss Williams.
Game.
Miss Williams.
Game for the match.
Miss Williams.
Fencing.
Serena just way too good.
Obviously, it's on my mind, but I would have to win in a really tough draw here.
And I would have to win the Open, and that's not really easy.
Obviously, it's something I want to do, but at the end of the day, there's a reason it's rarely done.
30-0.
Game.
Miss Williams.
Four.
Two.
A couple faults.
Serena Williams has won one.
Wow.
Well, I agree.
I've never saw a crowd like this either, so I think they're really into it.
They really, I guess, wanted Heather.
Heather has a tremendous fan base here, apparently.
But, yeah, I've never seen them this vocal.
I've never heard Boos here, so that was new for me.
But, hey, I guess I've been through it all.
Game.
Serena Williams.
15-0.
Oh, yes.
40-0.
50-0.
Game.
First serve to Miss Serena Williams.
Oh, yes.
Look at these two and see.
Game.
Miss Serena Williams.
116.
That's on the line as well.
50-0.
40-0.
She's playing really well, and she probably could have played a lot better as well.
So, you know, I've been there watching her practice every day and train,
and she's practicing well, and she's putting in the time, and she's feeling better.
And so, you know, you can start to see that being reflected in her game.
And, boy, she has the game to just knock anyone's socks off.
So, you just have to be ready.
30-0.
50-0.
30-0.
Game.
13.
Game.
10-0.
Serves.
40-0.
50-0.
30-0.
40-0.
Yes.
30-0.
Yeah, I feel like me and Victoria always have really wonderful matches.
She's always able to push it to three sets, and we always have some great three-set matches.
Whenever I see her, her name, I get excited because I feel like
there's going to be an opportunity to see how far I am and how well I'm doing.
And we always play each other pretty much every tournament,
so I'm just, you know, usually getting used to that.
Hit a line again.
There you go.
That's all she needs.
She's probably had like seven aces.
Greg's a big tennis fan.
It's too good.
Move back on the first serve to give her the in.
Well, it's never easy to beat such a great player who's had such a wonderful career.
So, you know, I don't know.
Whenever you play someone that you know has beaten you before,
you really get really focused, I think, and that's what I do.
I just, whenever I know I have to play Maria, I have to be focused
because she wasn't the best in the world for no reason.
I would be concerned if I wasn't nervous.
I would be like, oh, maybe it's not the same for me.
Maybe it doesn't mean as much for me.
But every single match I have nerves.
If you have Serena in a Wimbledon final, I think it's the hardest match you can have.
If you want to win a grand slam, when you dream, you say, look, I want Serena in the final.
Cheeky.
One real great swim.
Tracer now, and she's done it.
That was a very confusing.
Serena Williams is Wimbledon champion for the sixth time.
She's a grand slam champion for the 21st time
and set a record that will probably last into the next millennium and beyond.
I also want to say congrats to Serena.
She's still showing us that she's world number one.
Gabine, she played so well.
I didn't even know it was over because she was fighting so hard in the end.
I was like, OK, do I have to serve again?
So congratulations.
Don't be sad.
You'll be holding this trophy very, very soon.
Believe me, you're a great chef.
The Serena slam, it's happened.
I'm standing here with another Serena slam.
Serena Williams.
So if you're going to win 23, why not win 25 or 27?
Because the next thing they'll probably mention Margaret Cordy.
Oh, man, it is really a great feeling.
The moment is still setting in a little bit, and I'm just really excited about it
because I didn't want to talk about the Serena slam.
And I honestly wouldn't have thought last year after winning the US Open
I would win the Serena slam at all.
It's super exciting.
I just knew I wanted to win Wimbledon this year.
Of all the Grand Slams, it was the one that I hadn't won in a while.
And so I was like, I really want to win Wimbledon.
And, you know, it happened.
So just amazing.
It feels really, really good.
