[Story line] Police officer Sun Rui encounters her high school friend, Liu Siqin, during an operation. In her memories, Siqin had always been a model student, yet she’s now forced to carry out her duty to detain her friend. Sun Rui struggles to understand why the innocent Siqin had to be arrested, and even tortured due to her Falun Gong practice. As Sun Rui searches for the truth, she discovers cruel and chilling acts within the police department.
