Episode 21: Organ Donation Lie

Starting from January 2015, we conducted phone investigations on all hospitals qualified to perform organ transplants and some civilian organ donation organizations in mainland China. As it turned out, there have been very few organ donations and even fewer successful ones.

For example, until WOIPFG’s Investigation date: September 6, 2018, Beijing Red Cross Society has not started their organ donation work. A Tianjin Red Cross Society staff member said that since the organ donation bank system was set up in 2003, only over 170 people had made organ donations by : December 11, 2015. Shanghai only had five successful cases of organ donation.
