WHAT I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY !!! | Hello October

Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. So today I have a what I got for my birthday video for you. For those of you who don't know, my birthday was on Sunday. So I thought I'd put a little video together today to show you what I got. You guys seem to love the one I did last year and you love my what I got for Christmas videos. So how could I not do one this year? Just a couple of things before we get started. Number one, I have a really awful cold and I probably sound like a man right now. We're just gonna have to roll with it. Secondly, the lighting in here is a bit strange today. As you can see, I've got... I'm lit on my boobs. And the final thing is just one of those silly little disclaimers. This is not a bragging video. I don't do this to sit here and be like, ooooh! You guys know this. You guys are asked to see these videos and if you don't like these videos, why did you click on it? Just some food for thought there. Oh my god, the lighting on my boobs is insane. So I think to start off, I'm going to get started with the best present. And those are actually from Josh and the first one, you can't open. He's booked us a trip to Barcelona and I'm so excited. It's gonna be so nice. I've been before once but it was with Clarence about a year ago and I didn't really get to see that much of Barcelona because I was on a four-day shoot and honestly it was like 18-hour days. So it's gonna be so exciting to go back and actually get to see Barcelona. I go to so many countries and I don't properly get to see them. And I'm so excited about it. So yeah, that is like my main present and I'm literally over the moon. And then he got me a couple of little things to unwrap as well and I absolutely love these so much. I cannot wait to use them. The first thing is this little cup and it has a little deer that's like drinking on it. And for those of you who don't know, I'm obsessed with deer. Like it's stupid. It's really stupid. I just love them. I absolutely love them. And this is just so cute. It's in one of my favourite colours and in the bottom of the cup it says drink up and I think that is so, so cute. These are probably meant for like espressos and stuff but I very rarely have coffee anymore. So I will probably have like chocolate milk in this because I'm 25 going on five. And then the other thing is this pink bowl which matches the cup and at the bottom of this it has a little sleeping deer. And I just love it so much. I'm going to try and do a close-up of this so you guys can see properly. I think you can see it but I'll do a close-up just so you can properly see. It's so, so sweet. I really, I love it. I actually love it. Like it just makes me so happy to look at and I can't wait to eat my cereal out of this in the morning and when you get to the bottom it's just so cute. So those are my little things from Josh and I just love them. He's really good at buying little presents. Like he just buys the best little trinkets for me. I always end up loving them and just keeping them. I've got loads of little things that he's bought me over the years. So that is what he got me. Love it. Love him. He's great. Without getting gushy on camera I'm going to move on. I think next I'm going to talk you through what my mum and dad and brother got me which is something that I was so excited to receive. So this isn't going to be to everyone's taste and that is fine because if everything was to everyone's taste the world would be a really boring place to live in. But this is a shirt from the Topshop Unique show. So basically when they did the show this year a lot of brands have done this where you see now buy now and basically Topshop got straight on that and they made part of the Topshop Unique collection available instantly after the show. I think that it is beautiful. I just, I think that it really works with my style and the way I like to wear things and I think in the show this was styled with something over the top so this makes a really nice layering piece and that's basically exactly how I love to wear my shirts in the winter. But I just think that it's such a beautiful colour and it will work for me during the winter underneath things but it will also work during the spring and especially during the summer as well because it's so light. So it's just one of those really versatile pieces. It's not your typical floral shirt. It's very different in the way that the flowers are positioned and the print of it. It's got like tiny little, I don't know what this pattern is but it's got like tiny little bits all over it and it's just so beautiful. It also goes in at the bottom so you have this bit and on me I would just tuck this in because I like to tuck most of my shirts in and I think that's how it looks best on me. But I just think that it's gorgeous. It has like a wrap bit at the front and I like this because it's high necked but it has like a v shape and I'm always tugging my high necks down a little bit because I just find I've got a small neck, I've got small everything, I just am small so I find it just a little bit more flattering and it ties, it's just so cute, it's really nice and sheer and just it's just a beautiful piece. I'm really grateful for them for all clubbing in and getting this for me because I just absolutely adore it. So a big thank you to them because I absolutely love it and I'm sure you'll see me wearing it to death when I do all of my videos because that's what I do with the tops that I love like this one. Before I go on to presents I just wanted to show you a card that I got from my cousin and I think that this is so so cute. Basically I got a card from my cousin and her aunt and uncle but I also got a separate one from my cousin that she'd written in herself and it is so so cute so I just wanted to show it to you guys because I just I absolutely love it. It says may your whole date shine with birthday loveliness and then on the inside she's written me a little note, well there's a there's a page here, she takes after me she can talk a lot, um so it says dear Suzy do something nice I hope your day is filled with magic put your feet up happy birthday I hope all your dreams and wishes come true and you get everything you want enjoy your special day lots of love Lucia. And I just I just love this it actually like it just it makes my heart hurt it's so cute so thank you very much Lucia I absolutely love that I made my whole day it was amazing um so that is like my favourite card that I got for my birthday apologies to my mum because I know that she spends ages picking up my card but um sorry Lucia totally beat you to it um next I'm gonna go through a few things I got from Alex which are in this little bunny bag which is just adorable I feel like my whole birthday was just filled with cute oh and Alex's card was pretty good as well because it came with a unicorn sticker on it and the cool writing which I know she spent ages doing um but she gave me a load of unicorn stickers and I love it so I've definitely been very spoiled this birthday and I feel like I just need to acknowledge that before I go into this because Alex and I tend to go a bit nuts on each other's birthdays it's just a thing we both love birthdays we both obviously love each other and are just obsessed with each other um but she did really go nuts this birthday so one of the things I got from her was a diptyque fair de bois candle I think that's how you say it is it how you say it can someone confirm please that would be majorly helpful um and this is one of my favourite diptyque candles this and vanilla are my like top two and they both burn beautifully together fyi if you're into like mixing scents and this is the larger size I have the smaller size I think it's somewhere over there at the moment but it is running out very fast so she got me a new one and it's in like the big greeny black coloured um jar which I think is amazing and I love it smells so good it smells like we're burning fires and for me that is a really comforting scent it reminds me of my grandparent's cottage as a kid and oh it just smells so so good so I'm really happy to have another one of these and I just think that it looks so cool like the jar is amazing um so I love that so thank you very much to Alex and Darren for that and then she went totally nuts and bought me something from Saint Laurent and I'm so very grateful she totally didn't need to do that and of course the thing is not actually in this box anymore it's totally empty because I've taken it out because why wouldn't you so Alex got me a black YSL card holder in the grainy um leather material and it has a silver YSL on the front and she specifically went on a hunt to find a silver one bless her because she knows that I prefer silver hardware on a lot of things especially if they're black um and I love these card holders because they have a lot more slots in them than most most card holders that I find just tend to have one side and it doesn't allow you to fit the maximum in so I've been after one of these for such a long time and yeah I'm so very grateful to her for buying it for me my old card holder was a mess and I think her hatred of my old card holder is part of the reason she bought me this one because it was just so battered and such a mess so thank you so much Alex for buying this for me you totally didn't need to do that and I love you very much so on top of all of that I also got quite a few Topshop vouchers that tends to be people's go-to for me and I'm so okay with that because I love Topshop it is my idea of heaven I would shop in there for the rest of my life if someone made me pick one store I just I just love it so there's probably going to be a Topshop haul coming up soon but I also treated myself to a little something as I tend to do every birthday and Christmas because I'm that kind of awful person so I actually treated myself to a new pair of winter boots so if you hadn't already guessed by the thumbnail the boots are from Chloe and I've loved them for such a long time and been after them for such a long time I've mentioned them quite a few times in videos and they literally have my name on them so it's like it was fate and I basically stumbled across them on net-a-porter the last ones in my size and everywhere else they're like double the price so I picked up the Chloe Susanna boots which are basically the most gorgeous black studded boots in the whole entire world I love winter boots I love black boots you guys will know this I literally have a million pairs in different kind of styles and I don't have any studded pairs especially not in silver and I don't really love these in the gold so much I just don't think that the it's quite a warm gold it's a bit more of an antiquey gold and it doesn't really go with my wardrobe if it was lighter like a lighter gold I'd probably be a bit more okay with it but I love the silver ones and they are a little bit trickier to find I'm not sure if they're just like a seasonal piece or I'm not really sure but I picked these up off of net-a-porter and I'm not sure if they still have a couple of sizes left so I'll pop the link to them down below and they also do the mitten red with gold studs and I think a tan color with gold studs as well but I just am absolutely over the moon with these they are so beautiful very very comfortable as well so those are my special very naughty birthday treat to myself and I am officially on a luxury spending ban in terms of clothing for the rest of eternity I'm super happy with these and I just know that I will get so much wear out of them over the winter season and even in the summer I just see these being a really great versatile piece in my wardrobe so I think that they were well worth the purchase and I bought them quite a few weeks before my birthday and managed to not wear them or even really look at them up until the day of my birthday and I was so excited to wear them on Sunday morning so yeah those are my birthday treat another gift I also got was from my management company they sent me the biggest bunch of autumnal themed flowers I have ever seen they were amazing and I love them so so much they're just so beautiful I love getting flowers it's one of my favorite things so I'll pop in a close-up of those now and thank you so very much to the guys at James Grant for those because they are really
