Bruno Fernandes's first-half finish meant United took all 3️⃣ points from the @premierleague outing against @avfcofficial at Old Trafford 🙌
United-Villa, fourth versus sixth in the Premier League,
United-Supreme at Old Trafford, Villa in scintillating form under Unai Emery.
Quite a match in prospect today.
Lovely through ball to Rashford, Rashford's saved.
Excellent stop, and Martinez does enough.
Ramsey, that's a dangerous ball.
First block is good, could have been an own goal, that.
And then drilled towards goal by Moreno, and it's a terrific block.
Sancho cuts in.
Oh, off the bar, so close.
Totally beaten, wasn't he?
Couldn't have done any more with this, really, could he?
It was a fabulous strike, great move.
Rashford's after this, and Rashford racing through on his own.
Rashford, the rebound...
...Villa's nemesis, Bruno scores his seventh goal against Villa.
The Villa fans have been giving him stick, they've gone very quiet now.
Oh, the referee had a good view of it.
Now Milasic.
And that curler from Casemiro, just wide of the far post.
Does well to get it out to that left-hand side, ten left.
Lindelof comes across, Watkins goes on the outside.
Oh, Sabitzer, what a big chance.
Blocked, and another chance off the line, amazing defending.
De Gea's underneath this.
Referee, yeah, the offside flag has now gone up.
But there are a couple of big saves in here.
Luiz, dangerous ball in, good header away.
And then the volley, that's clear, and that's it.
What a big win for Manchester United in this top-four battle.
But some one-nil wins are crucial,
and this feels like a really big one in this long, long season for United.
They've got the job done, they've beaten Villa.
One-nil.
