The Inside Crew Reacts To Denver's Dominating Game 1 Win Over The Suns | NBA on TNT

Chuckster 11 0 2 Eastern Time thank you as we hit the air for inside the end I'm glad we got a big day tomorrow got a big day tomorrow we got game one to Knicks we got game seven Warriors we don't have it and we don't but we got two game sellers in hockey tomorrow night nobody watching that but you yeah no no no no nobody watch a hockey but you don't trust me the whole city of Boston will be watching okay yeah 26 minus 19 equals 12 yeah did you say that Auburn education on his phone yeah he said Jamal Murray was 12 years old when Toronto last one a last one a series they hadn't won they hadn't won since 2004 I know Auburn University anyway War Eagle graduate let's let's go to I didn't graduate I just hope it doesn't rub off on game one I'm gonna go back if I needed to if it hasn't yet Kenny it won't after all hey just by the way I'm doing pretty damn good for a college dropout as you are that's for sure KD pulling up knocking down you know both teams thought about hitting shots he's like okay it's gonna be a competitive game and it was for a for a quarter and a half and then Denver took control there's Joker come on Aiden and Joker here locked by Durant but gets it back and puts it home son's got to do a much better job on the boards Phoenix led by one after one you know they were out rebounded 49 to 38 in this one oh oh Aaron Gordon hey Aaron don't let now I know what you mean 49 41 they outscored him 37 to 19 in the second quarter contavious Caldwell where he's from Ernie oh I think he went to Georgia and then Aaron Gordon Arizona yes Serbia he went that was a heck of a pass right that's a heck of a catch 68 51 your halftime score don't front him don't you come on Aiden come on man do not front him Murray for three he had six of them on the night KD weaving his way to the basket and one three-point play Phoenix every time Phoenix made a little bit of a run and tried to get it to single digits Denver had an answer Jokic for three there Murray oh boy he had 34 on the night Murray again oh the night oh oh yeah that's a foul too 106 90 give me that give me that uh let me see what you do here oh Chris go get him car accident they took another look at it was common it was good action stop it chuck 114.95 at that point what a catch putting the exclamation points on this one there's one another that's one of those names I mentioned before the game Ernie you got two minute weapons 125 107 is your final score Nuggets take the opener remain perfect at home in the postseason they're 4-0 first road loss of this postseason for the Suns after winning two in LA against the Clippers and it's an 18-point verdict in favor of Denver boy Jokic was great Jamal was great right Aaron Gordon was great right keep going Ernie no I mean they didn't you talk about your total team efforts man you know and I told you that was just going to be the difference um you said something earlier when Joker went to the bench that just opened up shots for other increase the lead by nine in the second quarter when like say they're the Suns I'm looking at their team uh trying to be fair they just can't score enough I don't see anybody I mean Katie and Booker gonna have to go crazy but I'm looking at the bench I don't see what they gonna get 20 points from one guy on a given night but they don't have it they don't have it I just funny you said that because I had checks around that Shamik Craig Biambo Lee Baisley Lindell Payne Ross TJ Warren who doesn't play because of injuries pretty much and Wainwright those there's no one in that realm can get 20 points and so when you look at the Denver Nuggets you're going to have five to six guys that can get 20 are definitely going to get double figures you know and so to me I'll again I and I also think that their starters with Porter and and Gordon have an offensive advantage uh Gordon really showed that tonight that he has an offensive advantage and Porter at in key moments showed that he has the offensive balance because you got to switch they do the switching and they and they have Paul or Devin Booker guarding Porter who's 6-10. Booker and Durant combined for 56 rest of the team at 51 in this one and there's no use crying about the bench you know Charles said Kevin Endeavor it's gonna have to go crazy we've seen it done before we've seen great one two punches go crazy can't get our rebound they got our rebound to 49 to 38 can't give a team like Denver at home especially when they're playing this well second chance opportunity so look we don't have a bench so our guys are gonna have to step up still need a little bit more from Aiden and if we keep them off the class we have a shot but their bench is way better than you know Phoenix but I think the Suns can do a couple things number one they uh Katie and book going to play the whole game I think they're gonna have to play some zones they can rest on the defensive end yep I mean that that's the only thing you can do like you get a day off so I think if you play you got to play those guys the whole game do you anticipate them shooting more threes who's that Phoenix they don't do that but even by their standards I know they don't shoot that many they shot five threes in the first half of this game well that's a low number it's a low number but I think the problem they got they making Katie and Booker so busy on the defensive end like like Kenny the way they're switching man it's mismatches everywhere uh because every time they switch ain't had an advantage and and uh Joker had an advantage because neither one of these teams are playing regular defense they're just switching everything but as far as you're gonna shoot some more threes but I think the one not only is there so much pressure on Kevin and Devin to score they don't so they're trying to hide Devin because they don't want him to try to guard Jamal Murray but if you put him on KCP he can score two yeah I mean it's it's just uh it's just a lot of uh you put him on Porter Michael Porter jr can score there's nowhere to hide against this Denver team Denver plus 27 from three and this one plus 11 points off turnovers plus 11 on the boards and they had 16 offensive compared to eight for the Phoenix Suns this was a business-like demolition in game one 125 and shook a 107 I told you GL double three I I'm doing pretty good for a college dropout oh you're doing well Superman doesn't play where they play that but can't play who we play for thanks swag we appreciate that when we come back a look ahead to Sunday in Sacramento Steph and the champs facing a game seven against the Sacramento Kings
