The following footage was produced in Bremen during the start of series production in 2021 (Series 206). The sequences are organized according to the value chain.

Press Shop
With the start of production of the C-Class (Series 206), another state-of-the-art board cutting system is working at the Bremen press plant.
It cuts plates from coils with the highest precision. In addition, Mercedes-Benz has introduced one of the most modern servo press lines including an automatic test system: Inline-Inspection-robots automatically control each component and pass them to the next production-step.

Body Shop
In Bremen, a completely new bodyshop was built for the 206 series in which different model and drive variants can be flexibly produced "just-in-sequence". While in a traditional bodyshop the body parts are manufactured in one line, the new body shop consists of different production cells, the so-called "cubes", which can be flexibly combined with each other.
