CRISPY FRIED FILLET FISH WITH SWEET CHILLI SAMBAL ..... this is a crispy fish fillet with sambal sauce. It is easy and quick and great with steamy white rice. Do share it with your friends & family
INGREDIENTS FISH MARINATION 🐟
👉800g grouper fish fillet (ANY FISH )
👉1/2 tsp salt
👉1 tsp blackpepper crushed
👉1 tbsp vinegar
👉2 tbsp ready-made flour mix
*Mix all together and keep in the fridge for 15 minutes
*Fry the fish and keep a side
INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE / SAMBAL
👉8 cloves garlic roughly chopped
👉2 coriander roots and stem
👉4 red bird eye chili
👉5 red chili deseed
* Chop all together and set aside 👆those 4 ingredients
👉5 shallots chopped
👉1/2 tsp salt
👉1tbsp fish sauce
👉1 1/2 tsp tamarind paste
👉1/2 cup water
👉3 tbsp honey
👉coriander leaves chopped
METHOD
* In a pan add 3 tbsp oil, Follow by chopped 4 ingredients saute for 30 seconds,
*Add in onion saute for 3 minutes, Follow by salt and let the chili cook well
* Now add in fish sauce and tamarind paste mix well and follow by water. Let it boil
*Once boiled, taste for salt, add in salt if needs
( I added 1/2 tsp salt)
*Add honey stir and finally add in coriander leaves and serve....its yummy simple dish
