All right, you guys, we're about to attempt to score on NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo.
Hey, what's up, guys? It's David. If you guys know what Fun Bros are about, you know that we've
always loved basketball. And now that I'm living in NYC, I knew I had to take advantage of being
in the epicenter of culture. In a car powered by Mobile One Annual Protection, we set out an
epic adventure to explore all of NYC's most famous streetball courts. First stop, the originator that
started it all, Rucker Park. What's going on, guys? We are at the very first stop at our New
York City streetball court tour. I'm here with my New York native hooper friend, Jimmy Ng.
What's up, bro? Where are we at right now? We're at the world's famous Rucker Park right now.
You guys, this is probably the most famous streetball court in the entire world. Let's
go check it out. There is nothing in the world like New York City streetball. The culture runs
so deep in NYC, and people grow up on courts here, and they get their names here, and they try to
take other people's names, and they try to take other people's checks. Just to see the depth
of this subculture here, I mean, this is the home of streetball culture is New York City.
All right, you guys, we are headed from Rucker Park, which is 155th up to 200th Street,
to Dykeman Basketball Court. And yes, our car right now is being fueled by Mobile One Annual
Protection. Mobile One Annual Protection is a brand new car oil that allows you to only change
your car oil once a year or every 20,000 miles. Imagine all the time that you're going to save.
You could use it to play basketball. Dykeman is the hottest basketball court in the world right
now in terms of a streetball court. What is Jelly Fam? Jelly Fam is a layup. Well, it's sort of like
a dunk, but you're really finessing a layup. Is it true that if you hit them with jelly,
you might get a more hype reaction than a dunk? Let's see if we can find some members of the Jelly
Fam out here at Dykeman. It's no wonder that New York City is the mecca of basketball. There's so
many people here and basketball is definitely a sport that you can play in small quarters with
not a lot of space. And it's all about personality and bravado and attitude. And there's a lot of
trash talking and there's a lot of love, too. There is definitely a lot of respect to be gained
and a lot of perspective to be gained as well. We are headed to the Hudson River Park right now,
and this is another really cool court that I think you should definitely check out when you're in New
York City. And yes, we did cruise down the West Side Highway in a car. We've got Mobile One Annual
Protection right now. One thing that is really special about this place is the diversity around
here, because normally around my park, it's just around the same bunch of people I know.
But when I come out here, it's new people, different competition. This has got to be the
most relaxing streetball court I've ever been to. Next up, we've got West Fourth, aka The Cage.
It's pretty tight, so expect some physicality there. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready.
What is so famous about this court in particular? I heard it's because the size of the court is
really small. So when the court's packed and it's fives, it's like it's real physical, right?
Exactly, yeah. The argument you hear on the court, that's because they're taking out their
frustration from everyday life. So they bring it to the court and that's how they get rid of it.
It's the West Fourth Street family. That's how it is. Jimmy, we're going to try to get our name.
What's your name they're going to give you? They were calling me Jun Tao when they were talking to
me. Shout out to Jun Tao from Rush Hour. The experience at the West Fourth Courts was unlike
anything I've experienced before. The energy was crazy. There was a ton of people watching,
and Jimmy hit a game winner in game one, and then I hit the game winner in game two,
and we even got a West Fourth name, Chinese Connection.
Honestly, that experience at West Fourth was one of my absolute favorite basketball memories ever
in my life. I can see why the West Fourth Court is so legendary.
That was such a dope experience. West Fourth has now moved up
my favorite parks list. We are here at my favorite Grand Street Park. There's actually
three parks lined up. We'll show you guys the other two parks at Sarah D Roosevelt.
We're at the top one on Houston, the Houston Court. It's all one park and you see it's like
every park is different. You know, you got options.
We are here at the Stanton Park. The cool thing is that these courts
were actually designed by Cos. Whoa, so these courts were designed by the famous street artist
Cos. I can already see it because you got to see the X-style eyes on the background. You can
actually see it on every backboard. Yeah. We are headed to Brooklyn Bridge Park, our last stop of
the night, Pier 2. There are so many different piers at Brooklyn Bridge Park, but we're headed
to Pier 2. Huge shout out to Mobile One Annual Protection being the oil that is powering this
car right now. Yo, we are at our final stop, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 2. This is the
absolute last NYC streetball court that we hit today. Did you see the Jumpman they had?
Fake Jumpman? Hey, that's the New York Parks and Recreation's Jumpman.
If you're coming to New York and you want to hoop, always come to Pier 2. Give it a look,
if anything, it's a cool environment regardless.
Huge shout out to Mobile One Annual Protection for collaborating with us on this video. If it
wasn't for them, I would not have gotten the opportunity to take this epic tour around New
York City to see all the legendary streetball courts. I think that I've been changed forever
as a result of it. We definitely got to check out the Drive Event at Penn Station. Let's get it.
All right, you guys, we are at Mobile One Annual Protection's The Drive Event here in New York City
at Penn Station. We've got a lot of people here watching, so we're about to go have a shooting
competition. It's going to be a lot of fun. Let's go. Okay, you guys ready? Jimmy and David,
you guys know the drill. You've got 30 seconds. Whoever scores the most baskets in 30 seconds
wins. Three, two, one, go. All right, David and Jimmy. Jimmy looks like he's up one.
All right. Oh, David's coming back. It's okay to cheer people. Yes, it's all tied up. Two, two,
Jimmy, David. Lefty's abounding here. Oh, Dave. Dave's taking the lead. Jimmy, oh, sinking him.
Oh, Jimmy, you've got about two seconds left, Dave. Oh, but Jimmy with the buzzer beater. David
will count it. Oh, all right, here we go. It's a tie. It was a tie. It was a tie at four, so you
know what that means, people? It's a shootout. Jimmy, you're going to go. We're going to go shot
for shot. That's how we do it here, okay? On the people's basketball court. Go ahead, Jimmy.
All right, Dave, it's up to you. You've got to make this to keep this thing going.
It's over. Jimmy, let's hear it for Jimmy, everybody. Jimmy and David.
He got me. He got me in the shootout. It's all good. Yeah, we had fun. If you're wondering how
Mobile One is partnering with the NBA, definitely check the description below. You might even win
a free prize. All right, you guys, we're going to attempt to score on NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo.
