In this video I'm planting up my Ming aralia with a Bonsai style! I say style because i'm not using true bonsai soil here and this plant hasn't had bonsai training, yet. Because the aralias like a well-draining but very rich soil, i've mixed up my own soil here and so far the plant is loving it!

Ming aralias are a lovely tropical shrub or small tree that do well in the home if given proper considerations. Not only are they fairly easy to grow but they offer an extreme advantage when used in decorating. The tight growth habit and airy nature, combined with their unusual trunks adds a lot to a space. Toxic to dogs, cats and people though, keep it away from anything that may consume this plant.
