Planting up Tropical Pots! Building the Serenity Garden & Garbage Planter

Lots of fun things went on in the garden this week! I planted up my serenity garden area with tons of tropical plants and annuals! Alpinias, Fuschias, sweet potato vines, wandering jews, persian shield and bromeliads, crotons, philodendrons, pothos, variegated alocasia, xanadu philodendron, impatiens, bird of paradise, hydrangeas, ... too many to list really. Later I planted up a Garbage planter, which is just a planter full of sad looking clearance plants that need a little TLC. In that planter i used an Ensete Glaucum, cordyline fruticosa, milkweed, trailing vinca and begonias, oh, and a black coral elephant ear. oh, Ensete glaucum is the Snow Banana :)
