What equipment do you use? I have a Canon 700D with Rode VideoMic Go, a Canon Powershot S120 and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black. I edit on my Acer 8GB RAM laptop.
How did you learn to edit? I taught myself. I downloaded Premiere Pro and began to figure out how to use it through trial and error. My videos were pretty bad at first but eventually, and with the help of many tutorials, you start to figure out what works.
What work are you doing? Right now I am running this video blog while doing freelance web design and video editing to supplement my travelling lifestyle.
How do you meet the people in your videos? Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.

Good morning. I am in the Kalapagadi Mall at the moment in Jakarta.
And I'm just getting a quick coffee and doing some work on the laptop.
Just picked up a few things as well because tonight we're going to Bali.
I've only been back in Jakarta for a few days but I'm heading off again.
No rest for the wicked.
And going to Bali tonight.
So I'm going to leave now and go back and pack up the stuff.
There goes me.

Oh yeah, and we arrived tonight but haven't actually booked a hotel yet.
So I'm going to do that now.
So something really lucky just happened.
I was just searching for hotels for Bali.
I was just searching for somewhere to stay.
And while I was searching on the web I got an email from a hotel
saying they'd like to collaborate and they're inviting me to stay there.
So I've just replied to that and hopefully it'll be perfect timing
and we'll get to stay in the hotel for free.
And I'll show you what it's like.
I don't know, fingers crossed anyway.
I'll sort that out in time.
Right now I need to head back to the flat.
Back in the flat now and it's about half four and our flight is at eight.
Haven't packed anything yet.
Should probably get packing.

I just got all my laundry done for $30,000 which is like $2.50.
All that washed and folded and ready for Bali.
So we're all packed up now and on the way to the airport.
Some of you will be thinking why am I going to Bali
when there's so many places to explore in Indonesia.
And I've listened to all your recommendations.
I want to go to Sulawesi, I want to go to Sumatra,
I want to go to Raja Ampa, to Flores, to Komodo.
And I'm going to do all of that but this week is the first real chance
me and Steph have had to have a bit of a holiday together.
I love it.
Yeah and we both love Bali so that's why I chose Bali.
It's just going to be a really chilled week I think.
I'm still going to film a bit but the vlogs are going to be really chilled.
There's no real plans, there's no massive plans to do anything.
I'm just going to kick back and really enjoy Bali.
So that's why I'm going to Bali.
There was no traffic at all so we are here so early.
The flight is in about three hours time.
So we've got some time to kill.

the phone I bought in China,
it's got a block on Snapchat and anything Google.
So I can't do Snapchat, I can't do Gmail or Facebook Messenger on my phone.
Which is kind of frustrating but until I get a new phone then I won't have Snapchat.
This is like the first time for me going somewhere with just a backpack.
So it's cool.
Boarding the plane now, all in all.
Three hours went pretty quickly.
Let's go to Bali.
I'll just speak to you when we land.
The local time now is 20 minutes before midnight.
Back in Bali.
Good to be back.
We just have hand luggage so we don't need to pick up our baggage.
Why are you so tall?
Instead we're going to go straight to the hotel
because it's already 12 at night and knackered.
So let's get going to the hotel.
Oh yeah, I mentioned earlier there was a hotel that contacted me
about staying there and collaborating with them.
And that is happening.
I've exchanged a few emails with them today
and that's going to happen at the end of the week but not tonight.
It was too late notice for that.
Instead, just looked on booking.com
and booked somewhere cheap for the night.
So we're going to head there now.
Cheers mate.
Just arrived at the hotel.
Got a relatively cheap taxi from the airport.
None of GrabCar, Gojek or Uber were working
so I bartered for a taxi.
And to Jimbaran, which is about 15 minutes away from the airport,
was 100,000.
It's not that cheap.
It's about $8.
But it's okay.
Anyway, in Bali now.
And actually I'm excited but also really tired.
So I'm going to end it here.
