What equipment do you use? I have a Canon 700D with Rode VideoMic Go, a Canon Powershot S120 and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black. I edit on my Acer 8GB RAM laptop.

What work are you doing? Right now I am running this video blog while doing freelance web design and video editing to supplement my travelling lifestyle.

Good morning it's 9 a.m. and right now I'm in Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
I teased you in the last video but I think it's about time I told you where
I'm going. I'm going to Cambodia and I've been there before but I was there about
six years ago in my first ever backpacking trip and now I've got a
chance to go back and let me tell you why. A couple of months ago some of you
might remember I launched my patreon campaign so you guys could help me out
and fund these videos if you choose to and by the way thank you so much to
everyone that supported that that's like it's helped me out so much in the last
couple of months. One of my viewers and you know who you are on the back of that
said that he would sponsor a trip to Cambodia if I did it on behalf of his
website which is golfcambodia.com so all of these videos that I'm doing in
Cambodia I'm gonna be there for about what two or three weeks I'm not sure yet
but all the videos will be powered by golfcambodia.com and you guys can do me
a favor as well just by checking out the site it's awesome that he wanted to
fund these videos and maybe we can all help each other you can check out the
site and I can help create cool videos. I still have complete free reign over
what I'm gonna do in Cambodia I've got some big ideas yeah really excited about
this. I'm at the gate already and got a few hours to kill time to get some work
I think I need a snack
that's me but I just want to say by the way I'm back on snapchat the life of
George. Welcome to Cambodia and I always love that when I can say a new country
on this vlog just landed as you can see and could have a bit of problem here
with immigration I did the e-visa so I got the visa online but I forgot to print
it so I don't know what's gonna happen here
but hopefully it's okay let's see what happens
awesome didn't need to print it out the email I got said that you definitely
need to print it but I just showed him it on my phone and yeah it was okay
don't take my word for that I was just my experience but it worked out and
that's my bag now needs to figure out the taxi situation yeah you know let me
find it oh I'm just trying to find it now goodbye yeah thank you
here we go hello hi yeah Jordan Jordan nice to meet you
nice to meet you too, yes you can have a seat. Sure, thank you
that's okay thank you so I just arrived at the hotel with my
welcome drink here and everyone is so nice so nice like okay anyway I'm gonna
get to the room
I love that oh yeah this place is called La Residence Blanc d'Ancourt and it
was also sorted out for my stay in Siem Reap which is pretty awesome and yeah
I'll show you a bit more of it but right now I'm gonna take a nap
check that out that's where I'm gonna be having breakfast in the morning yeah I
couldn't sleep like I said about having a power nap but there's no way I've just
arrived to a new country I want to explore a bit as I said I have been here
before but it was years and years ago I just passed through so let's have a look around
okay cool I just started walking it was my plan to walk to here and then I
realized it would take about 40 minutes and that little tuk-tuk I think they're
called tuk-tuk rickshaw was $2 so I just jumped in that instead but yeah anyway I
came to what I know to be the center or the tourist center of Siem Reap which is
around here got pub street behind me and then just behind me that side is where
the night market is as well but right now I need to grab some food
so I just found the cheap little place just off the road it's called Siem Reap
street food and as you can see by the menu I don't know if you can see but
everything is in dollars and that's pretty normal here anyway even the cash
machine I got a cash alien and that gives out dollars some of you might not
know this but yeah Cambodia pretty much solely uses dollars and then gives
change in their own currency which is the real it's got a 90% dollarization
rate I looked up earlier so the whole country pretty much just uses US dollars
I mean it's 4,000 real to the dollar and I think I might be wrong about this but
I think the largest note they actually have is 20,000 real so which is just
five dollars so you can imagine how difficult it would be if they just use
their own currency so everything is done in dollars there you go lesson for
the day it's good and a pineapple juice for a
dollar so the night market is just setting up over there and I wanted to go
explore that so while it's setting up I brought my laptop out and gonna do a bit
of editing with a 50 cents beer one dollar for two draft beers crazy so this
is the night market anyway it's just across the road from where I was sitting
and I think they have it every night but as you can see from the stuff behind me
it's proper tourist market everything Angkor Wat related actually I think it's
just opened because there's no one here really but I don't actually want or need
anything right now and I'm really tired I just wanted to show you it quickly and
now I'm gonna head back just got back to the room I've got to say this hotel has
some of the best service I've ever had I just asked for some water I just asked
for a water bottle I wanted to buy one and instead the manager just said no no
we'll send water up to your room so he sent me one two three four bottles of
water and just so friendly and polite everyone greeted me as I got here and
everyone knows me my name yes so nice good job oh by the way I should clarify
I'm not under any obligation to say any of that they gave me the room for free
but also just said just give an honest review make a video if you want or don't
it's okay but of course I'm gonna include it because they're just being
really good anyway enough about hotels for now my plans my plans my plans my
plans what some of you will know about Cambodia and about Siem Reap is Angkor
Wat one of the ancient wonders of the world so I'm definitely doing that and
I'm gonna hit the backpacker trail around Cambodia as well I'm gonna do
basically everything there is to do in Cambodia over the next few weeks so I
should have loads of content to put out for you and yeah that's what I'm gonna
do right now though I'm gonna sleep so again thank you for watching welcome to
Cambodia and this is my life
