weekend in my life: madrid, spain

Hola Patrícia! Good morning everybody, it is Tuesday morning, May 15th maybe. We are in Lisbon, Portugal right now and it's about 6.45am. Go us for being awake and looking somewhat polished. We are going to head downstairs with the rest of our tour group and we are headed to Madrid, Spain! We're going to Portugal, Madrid and Spain and it's so fun. It's a 10 day trip so we've had so much time here in Lisbon and now we are headed to Madrid and I'm really excited about it. This is my little airport OOTD because we are flying to Madrid and then once we get to Madrid, when we head to Barcelona we'll be taking a train. So I'm wearing this little jumpsuit deal from Forever 21 because once we get there we're kind of like doing stuff. This jacket is from AG Jeans. Necklaces, M Jewelers, Stella and Dot. Earrings are from Love AJ. And I'm just wearing my Vint slip-on so you guys already know what those look like. And I'm trying this whole like sleep back pony thing. Comment down below if you like it, if not, don't tell me. Honey, I'm home. This is a cute Starbucks. Guys, so here they call them cold brew lattes instead of iced lattes. And look how beautiful this baby is. We're going to baggage claim and then we're driving to our hostel. We're staying at a hostel here. It's kind of cool though, it's like a modern hostel. And then we're doing like a walking tour and yeah, so getting the day started. I really need to wake myself up. Madrid looks so cute already. I'm so excited. My feet hurt though. We haven't really walked. Taco away is take away. Tacos, oh. Now like, let me walk to tacos. Alright, hotel room tour. Hostel room. Hostel room? Hostel? Hostel room? Hostel? Hostel room tour starts now. Was just about to take a nap and then. So we have to go back down to the lobby and we're going on a little walking tour. It's really lively out there. There's a festival going on that ends tonight I believe. It is so beautiful here. This girl just ordered pasta bolognese. She's a vegetarian. Did not know that it had meat in it. What? I got paella because it's their staple. Paella and cava. My mom told me to get this meal. Morgan and I made reservations at this amazing restaurant that we've heard about called Rolanca, right? Yeah. And we actually walked past it today and it looks so cute, so classy. We just want like a classy, fine dining experience. I'll show you guys my outfit. It's pretty out there but like I've been waiting to wear it and I think tonight is the night. So I'm wearing this two piece set. Very funky, I know, but when in Europe, when in Rome, but not really. Haha. I'm in a weird mood. I just woke up. We also, I didn't mention this, we took like an hour and a half nap. I don't nap. More than that. I think? No. What? Maybe two, but no more than two hours. So this is my two piece set. I got it from Red Dress Boutique in Athens, but they have an online website. I was so surprised when I found this there. I was like, this is so cute. So yeah, it's just like a top, ties in the back. It's like off the shoulder. Then these fun pants and then I'm wearing my Steve Madden. This necklace I showed you guys recently. It's from Princess Polly. I put on a little eyeshadow and mascara, so we'll see if this mascara actually works well for me today. But yeah, that's the look. Wow. Beautiful. Guys, low key, low key, I got Chagliatelli Carbonara. What the heck do I do? Do I just let it go in? I think you just mix it around with the whole thing. Okay. We just finished our lovely bougie dinner. It was absolutely amazing. It was really good. Our waiter, we want to be friends with him. He was so nice. He taught us a lot of Spanish. What was even his name? I don't know. Us too. We'll never know. We're just going to get in bed, maybe watch some funny videos, talk, chat. But yeah, and then we have a walking tour in the morning. So it's our second day in Madrid, and it is beautiful out. It is 70 degrees. Could not be happier. Morgan's back there getting ready. We've got lots of stuff planned for today, so we're really excited about that. So right now we're headed over to La Tita Rivera, a restaurant that our tour guide, Antonio, you're the bomb, referred us to. It's supposed to have tacos and burritos, because I haven't had a taco yet, and I'm so excited. So we're going to go to that. And then there's some shops around there. There's a Primark, which I used to watch Zoella all the time, and she would always shop at Primark. And I was like, we don't have one, and it looks so cute. And then we're going to Flamenco Show tonight. We're going to dinner with friends, like all that fun stuff. So lots of stuff is going to happen. I just want to give you guys an overview. This is my outfit for the day. I'm wearing this fun dress from Princess Polly. It is just so fun. I thought it was perfect for walking around the streets. I'm wearing this necklace again, because I just love it, because it's all-in-one. It's from Princess Polly as well. Same bracelets. And then I'm wearing these shoes, because we're going to be walking a lot. But then tonight when we go to Flamenco Show, I think I'm going to switch into those bad boys. So, yep, that's the fit. And Morgan's wearing this super cute red star dress. You guys know I love stars. Just finished lunch. It was delicious. Finally got ourselves a good burrito. It was so tasty. It was really good. Yes. Also, they did not speak English there, like whatsoever. But we survived. We did it. Yay! Starbucks time. This one's so cute. I think the umbrella is very Alfredsy. The Starbucks here are so cool. You can get a smoothie pre-made with the ingredients, and then you give it to them, and they blend it for you. They have all these different ones. These are their waters. Everything's so different. I love it. We still got a baby ice vanilla latte gang. Got our Starbucks. Now it is shopping time. Never been to a Primark before. I'm so excited. Guys, this is all Primark. This is huge. Guys, I'm so excited. I found this store in New York, and I haven't seen it since. Get ready. I hope I'm not hyping it up too much, but this store is huge. I am in a good mix. I found some good items. I shopped for some things for my New York meetup, so I hope to see you guys there. I don't know if this vlog's already happening, but my meetup's happening. But I'm really hype about that, so I want to have some cool outfits in New York. We are headed back to our hostel, hotel, whatever you want to call it, and we're going to edit, and we're going to hang around for a little bit, and then we have the flamenco show. I love me some live music. To the flamenco show now. I'm very excited. Also, my friend Delaney just texted me, and she got us tickets to the Drake and Migos concert in Atlanta, and I'm so excited. Got some VIP to Joy, which is a dance club, which I'm so hype about. This is like the big square in the city, and it's completely empty right now, and it's so quiet. It's so packed here, so it's so cool to see it so quiet. Good morning, everyone. It's almost 9 a.m. I am headed to breakfast with one of my mom's old college roommates who lives in Madrid, and so I'm doing this for my mom. She hasn't seen her friend in years, so I'm meeting up with her. I'm walking there alone, though, and my GPS is kind of going in and out, but it's okay. I'm almost there. We're good. I've come across a palace, I see. Oh, how beautiful. Wow. Get out of bed. It's a beautiful day. This girl texted me saying she's awake. I get back. She's still asleep. I was like, don't make me vlog you. She's like, I don't care. Come on, it's beautiful out. Let's go get some coffee, walk around Retiro Parque. That's 26 minutes away. Hello, everybody. So it's a little bit later. I decided to curl my hair while Morgan was getting ready just to change it up a little bit. We are headed to grab a quick bite to eat because that's pretty much what we do here, and then we're meeting the group in the lobby at 2 p.m. to go to Mandeep. To go to Mandeep. To go to Toledo. It's like medieval, and we get to play with swords and all that fun stuff. It's supposed to be really beautiful over there. I'm not really sure if we're getting there. I don't even know how far it is, so we only have like an hour. You ready? I'm ready. She's alive. I know. Wow. So three sides of the city that's surrounded by the river. Just the northern side, the one we left behind, is where you can find the city walls. And for the other three other sides, no need of walls. Wow. So pretty. Where are we right now? We're at a sword factory. Look at that. Got our headphones in. We are ladies in black tonight. And we are headed to dinner and potentially dancing, maybe. So we're going to head down to meet up with some of our other friends in the EF group because they're awesome. And then we'll go from there. Yay! So we're at this market that has like all different tapas. So we're starting off with these mini pizzas. Morgan's about to get some baklava. Cheers, baby! We're at a nice, beautiful rooftop bar of our hostel. Our hostel has such a trendy rooftop bar. Like, I'm upset. OSU! OSU! I love you! OSU!
