Well, a new day begins. It's Thursday, August 14th.
We're about to leave the hotel. It's already quite late, because we arrived yesterday at dawn.
It's already 12 minutes to 5. We haven't slept everything we would have liked, but we have to take advantage of the day,
otherwise we'll be late. We have almost two hours to the beach, which is where we are going to start today,
in Venice Beach and the whole area of the port.
Well, let's see how it is. How to know if the hotel area is safe when the receptionist is behind a bulletproof glass.
I think that's the receptionist. He comes out every now and then.
So, well, this is the neighborhood. It looks very good.
I don't know if it's very safe to have the camera in your hand, but well.
So, well, let's go to the beach.
Well, we're already in the beach area. We're close to Venice Beach, but first we're going a little north, towards Santa Mónica,
which also has a walk at the end, and then we'll go down again to Venice Beach and the rest of the beach area.
And this is already starting to take the typical look of what you see in the movies.
All little stalls, selling t-shirts.
All kinds of items for sale.
Skirts, necklaces, bracelets, tattoos.
There's everything here.
Boring is not boring. There's everything.
Well, we're already eating here in the middle of the beach.
A little break, because we haven't had breakfast today. We left late.
So today it's a little healthier, moderately.
And well, we've already bought some souvenirs.
Cristian is a bit discreet.
It's clear what it is, right? The t-shirt.
Integrating into the American panorama.
Like a real Texan, with the hat of the American flag.
So we're going to eat now, and we're going north, towards Santa Mónica.
We're already in Santa Mónica Pier.
It's a very big area, a very big passage that there is here.
Historical, with original wooden boards, from when it was built.
Here we have another buvagam, like the one in San Francisco, although I think this one is more original.
And then there's the typical Santa Mónica Pier.
There's the Noria over there.
And right here in Santa Mónica Pier ends the Route 66,
which starts in the Chicago area, towards the north, in the middle of the United States.
And ends up here.
Although, well, we've done the final part.
Because of the music, sometimes Michael Jackson is dancing, but really it's Justin Bieber.
We've already reached the end of the tour.
The whole ocean is coming.
There's even a band playing.
We're in Marshall Beach.
Here Cristian is getting in shape.
A device to strengthen the biceps.
It's not easy, it's not easy.
And well, here are all the mazos of the area.
Exercising.
There aren't too many now.
But they're all the mazos of the area right now.
To do rings, to do stretching, to climb ropes.
To get out of the beach there's no weights or anything.
It's all more elastic than anything else.
And well, I've just had a lemonade.
Because it's very hot.
And also, to come to the beach, it's about 4 km.
Well, on the way to the beach of Venice Beach, we've been able to do a little sand castle here.
With a bucket and a stick, and well, we've got something nice.
Look, they also make all kinds of donations.
Including iPods, iPads, iPhones, Xboxes, PS4s, Wiis.
Everything.
We've arrived to Marshall Beach, here in Venice Beach.
Which is the gym that's set up outdoors.
And it's where Arnold Schwarzenegger used to train.
In his best years.
You can't see it on his face, but that's Christian who's doing it there.
Who's given him the sun today.
Also, just like in the Hall of Fame, they have their own stars here.
With the names of, I imagine...
Lifters.
Well, massages, maybe.
