ARCHITECTURAL REASON

I was a column, you - an arch, supporting our love,
Which I thought was immune to disasters in the blue evening.
And love seemed like a fortress built from a symbiosis,
When I was clay and you were stone, united by metamorphosis...

I was a window, you - a stained glass window, which beautifully decorated my gaze,
Through thousands of colorful dreams you admired my righteousness.
And when the angry autumn sought to enter the city,
Nostalgia vibrates in the windows, looking at the dying leaves...

I was a front door where you were the latch,
From the threshold we made a border of dreams towards our longing, the traveler.
I was laying down a carpet in bloom, woven in secret from the eyes of the world,
To caress your feet, when you shyly stir the coals...

I was a smoldering fire in the hearth, in your brick palm,
And it seemed to me that my thrill would never go away.
I was a creeper clinging and coiling seductively
The walls of the heart, the subjects... wild, torturous...

I was faithful to moments when you made me tremble
And I didn't think we'd end up in ruins after an earthquake.
And today, when the rain dissipates and knocks in agonizing memories,
We remain fragments of a story for an architectural reason...
